I’m renting 3 of 4 bedrooms in a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom renovated house in Maxwell Park! The location couldn’t be better with a 2 minute drive to the 580, which takes you to downtown SF in under 25 minutes, and the #14 bus stop within a 1 minute walk, which takes you to the Fruitvale BART stop 7 minutes away. The Oakland Airport (Southwest Airlines!) is at most a 13 minute drive. This place is perfect for digital nomads who need a home base, traveling nurses, or anyone who wants to build a home. 2 bedrooms have their own private bathroom with full bathtubs, and none of the bedrooms share walls. House has washer/dryer, an ADT security system, 4 external cameras, and 2 motion-activated floodlights. The front yard is enclosed in a wrought iron fence, and the backyard is surrounded by a wooden privacy fence. There's a driveway that can hold 2+ cars comfortably, and street parking is plentiful in front of the house. And the kitchen is huge with more cabinet space than we could possibly use. Common spaces are fully furnished, and rooms are optionally furnished. The backyard is huge, has a storage shed (for things like surf boards or golf clubs), BBQ, and may be the future home of a hot tub in the not-so-distant future! 3D printer is available for use. Your room mate will include me, 30s male who's quiet, considerate, and open-minded, and I'm looking for similar people. My background is in physics, but now I work in the AI/ML space. Hobbies include tennis, traveling, and estate sales (among other things). Lease terms are flexible, but longer-term is preferred--you will have a chance to make this home yours, and I'm open to changes/additions. Rent depends on the choice of room and ranges from $1300 for the ensuite bedroom with a sitting room, $1200 for the other ensuite bedroom, and $1000 for the upstairs bedroom with shared bath OBO. Move in would require 1st month's rent and a security deposit equal to rent. Utilities are shared and should be no more than $150 a month (solar power coming soon!).
