Property Ratings at 300 Bay St
I would be very wary before renting any apartment at 300 bay street and being enticed by pictures that in no way represent the current state of the place. The building has been in a constant state of serious repair for MONTHS, with no notice given to tenants (or even when we were viewing the apartment before the move), and no timeline given for completion. This has ranged from small upgrades to serious construction work being done to the apartment itself, which has lasted for weeks and still not been completed - both the balconies and pool remain out of order and taped off with yellow caution tape. Aside from the obvious inconvenience, it has been very unsafe with unqualified guys slinging sledgehammers through walls and demolishing the supports from balconies - the local authorities have shown up multiple times due to not having the right permits for construction work. This might be ok ik if the landlords had communicated anything but they refuse to discuss the issue and send demand letters for rent after asking to speak. The work was supposed to last two weeks but has been 3 months with no sign of ending soon. Building owners are just interested in money-grabbing and not to be trusted as they show zero considerations towards the tennants.
