Great amenities! The gym has a good variety of equipment but it can get a bit warm though sometimes, depending on what the temperature is set at.

Very friendly front desk staff. Clean common spaces. Nice finishings. Biggest complaint is the photo of the rooftop view is outdated due to new developed, resulting in an obstructed view of NYC skyline. Photo should be updated to manage expectations.

it had been great experience so far in this apartment. I believe the only important amenity missing in my apartment is an exhaust or chimney. Also, we can have a community meet up program bi-monthly. that can be good way to know the neighbors.

I've been living in this building for some time now, and overall, I really enjoy my experience here. The facilities are top-notch, and the community is friendly and welcoming. The amenities make day-to-day life convenient and enjoyable. However, I have encountered one issue that I think needs addressing: the gap around the air conditioning unit. During the winter months, cold air tends to seep in from outside, making it a bit uncomfortable at times. I believe closing that gap or improving insulation would enhance the comfort of residents significantly. Despite this minor setback, I’m overall very pleased with my living situation and would recommend this building to others!

3 Journal Square is a great building with good amenities. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The building is very well maintained. Accessibility wise the location is right next to groceries store and PATH station.

The staff is good, however many problems on the construction of this building. I had so many problems of clogging on the kitchens sink, the sink is always dirty and smelling bad. I’m really disappointed with this issue and nobody from the administration gave me a solution either a feedback.

Apartment building location is great . Close to path and Indian grocery stores . Only thing I don’t like they don’t clean play area time to time. And some times service person don’t come after one visit ( very least often ). Else everything is great

It's been a few months since I moved to 3 Journal Square and I absolutely love it. They have great amenities such as 24/7 front desk concierge, package receiving facility, gym, rooftop, park and also they have a ton of security features which was my biggest concern. Recently I needed maintainence to fix a few concerns in my apartment and their service was quick and great. Majority of the front desk concierge have been very kind and friendly, I like interacting with them. Amira is the leasing officer who helped me secure my apartment, she is very professional and friendly, I am grateful to her efforts. The building also has small parties or get togethers which I enjoy attending as it helps me meet more people at the building. The location of the apartment is also amazing, it's close to the path station allowing me to easily commute to NYC. There are many Indian and halal stores nearby which I find very convenient.

Have lived here for over 3 years Love the building’s location and staff. The units are well maintained and come with washer, dryer, and dishwasher in unit. Maintanence requests are handled in a timely manner and the leasing office is friendly and helpful

Living here has been pretty great so far. The apartment building is cleaned often, and the staff is very friendly. Never have package issues since there is always someone at the desk to accept larger packages, and a convenient package locker for everything else.

I have recently moved into 3 Journal Square Apartments. So far my experience has been great. Leasing officer Amira helped me apply for the apartment I was interested in and provided me with all the support I needed. I moved from Washington DC and did not face any issues communicating with the leasing team to make sure everything was set for me to move-in. The front desk was very understanding upon my arrival and helped in accepting my packages that I needed immediately upon my arrival. They also have amazing amenities, I especially enjoy the terrace and gym. The location of the apartment is great, there are a lot of grocery, Indian and halal stores nearby. One of my top priorities was safety, there are plenty of security features in the apartment building including 24/7 concierge and controlled access. I feel safe in the community and always felt like help was near. The building is a close walk to the Path station providing easy commute access to NYC.

People here are very nice. It's a great place to live if you have a dog - from treats at the front desk to an onsite dog run. The employees who are constantly cleaning and managing the trash are top notch, thourgh and professional. Love it's really close to the Path.

We are really enjoying our new place. Staff is amazing and front desk people are friendly and willing to help at anytime. Amenities are fabulous. Our dog Smokey is adjusting well to things and loves the dog park.

I lived here for over a year and have to say everything was good until a very bad experience I had at the end. One night at 10:30pm we could not get into our unit as our lock was not reading our key fob or the doorman’s key fob. We were told that since mainatence was not around that it would take someone 1.5 hours to get there. When someone finally arrrived we did not get into our unit until around 1:30am. Turns out the lock lock on the door ran out of battery and it took a crowbar to get into our unit. When we emailed management about this all we got was a simple sorry and explanation that they change the battery twice a year. They made no effort whatsoever to make it right. It was very disappointing and a very sour end to our stay.

Management at this property is horrendous. I had a security concern and, instead of trying to work with me in person, the manager selectively reviewed the security tapes and implied I had lied about the incident. Not to mention the office people walk around with scowls on their faces and never say hi to you as you walk by. Also, they will overcharge you for the cheapest flooring on the planet when you move out and potentially fabricate charges, as they claim we took a smoke detector that was there when we moved out. When I asked for receipts for the work they claim they did on the apartment, they sent me a photo of a catalog price and a flooring invoice dated after they had “calculated” what I owe them. Not only will they attempt to keep your entire security deposit, but they’ll jerk you around when you try to get your hard earned money back. Because apparently a giant corporation needs your security deposit more than you do in the middle of a pandemic. I’ve lived in several apartment communities and have always gotten my entire deposit back, but this was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with an apartment community. Just stay away.
