ROOM FOR RENT on the west side in a 5-bedroom old Victorian house (built in 1899) in Old Colorado City. Only $530 a month (+$250 security deposit), all utilities, trash, and maintenance are included. Single occupant only. Female preferred. Co-ed household, both male/female currently in the house. Nothing dramatic. This is a drama-free zone. Just easy-going, quiet people in a friendly household. We're trying to maintain the right balance here. No dogs or cats. There are 2 dogs in the house already. Off-street parking available. Only 3 miles from downtown. The rent is low because it's more important to appreciate the right person than it is to overcharge the wrong one. No alcoholics or drug addicts. If you're the type of person who's always trying to get away with something, then don't waste our time. If you do not have stable employment, then don't waste our time. If, however, you can act like a responsible adult in a house full of responsible adults, then please contact me to set up an appointment.

As its name implies, Old Colorado City is a historic neighborhood about three miles west of Downtown Colorado Springs. Old Colorado City is best known for Colorado Avenue, a quaint thoroughfare lined with brick-built 19th-century commercial buildings. These historic establishments contain art galleries, boutiques, restaurants, and more. Old-fashioned architecture combined with a prominence of local owners makes for a friendly, relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of the Old Wild West. Similar to other Colorado Springs neighborhoods, Old Colorado City has very affordable and upscale rental options available.
During the summer, locals flock to Bancroft Park for outdoor concerts and weekly farmers markets. A haven for art aficionados, this vibrant community also hosts monthly art walks involving more than 15 local galleries.
