House Rules 2901 Salena is a property regulated by a mixed-use zoning published on the Compton and Dry 1875 map. Old buildings are full of history, memories, and character. These building were designed prior to the advent of modern heating and cooling which means airflows and vents are often uniquely placed to preserve the character of the building. Walls are often much thicker and very rarely square. Floorboards squeak, door locks require keys, windows are single pane. Modern amenities have been added for comfort including new hvac systems, window units, blackout thermal window treatments, ceiling fans, area rugs and carpet to make the place comfortable. Quiet Time & Patio Use: The patio and rooftop deck can be used from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. Noise is restricted from 9:30 pm to 8:00 am. Violation of quiet time and patio rules may result in immediate eviction without a refund. Restaurant: There is a café and restaurant on the first floor. Please be mindful of the space and note that use of the first floor for anything other than permitted ingress and egress points is considered trespassing unless you are a customer. Entry: Entry is via Salena Street sidewalk gate on the South side of the building . Stairs lead up the second floor rooftop deck which is the primary point of ingress and egress. An interior staircase leads out the side to the ground floor facing Pestalozzi Street. This is an emergency exit only. Please note that exterior spaces and first floor restaurant spaces are monitored by camera. Parking: Parking is on street. Please note street signs designating street cleaning days and times. The City may ticket you if a vehicle is left on the street during these times. Off Limit Areas: Designated restaurant spaces are off limits. Loitering or use of areas not designed for ingress or egress may be considered trespassing. Areas in the apartment are also off limits. This would be any area designated as such, including all levels of the third floor.
