From hiking and camping in the mountains to surfing (the Pacific Coast beaches are only about 12 miles south), outdoor adventures surround you in Agoura Hills.
Visit Paramount Ranch, a terrific park with a long movie history. Paramount Pictures first leased the ranch in 1923, and movies and television shows have been made here as recently as 2014. In addition to the Western town, the park offers hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails. Head to Malibu Creek State Park and enjoy the rock pool swimming hole and hiking trails. Or spend the day hiking and mountain biking at Cheseboro and Palo Comado Canyon in the Simi Hills, which covers 4,000 acres.
