Located two miles north of downtown Evansville, Jacobsville took its name from the fact that it originally consisted of the area around Hannah Jacobs' farmhouse. Bosse Field, home of the Evansville Otters, serves as the main attraction in this neighborhood. Stop by for a game and see if you recognize this famous stadium from its scenes in the movie "A League of Their Own."
