I think the appliances could be better, I found that the fridge wouldn’t work that well even when the setting was kept at maximum. I also wish the housemate pairing system was taken more seriously, and carefully curated, especially because it is individual based rent. If we’re paying so much as is, the people we live with should be similar to us.
I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate how amazing the apartments at 27 North are! The modern design, convenient amenities, and prime location near downtown San Jose and SJSU make it an ideal place to live—especially for students and young professionals.

Leasing staff usually responds to email inquiries within a day or two. Maintenance requests easily submitted online and fulfilled ASAP. Convenient in-unit laundry machines and package/ mail delivery lockers downstairs. Very close to SJSU campus. Elevators break sometimes, but amenities are worth it.

It's my 4rth year living at this apartment community & has been largely positive. The location is convenient, making it easy for me to get to campus and nearby amenities. However, there's a lot of homeless people in the outside area. Other than that, this apartment is great for SJSU students.

We have had a broken elevator for over two months. it was supposed to be fixed a long time ago. they said it would definitely be fixed last week, and no to no one's surprise, it is still broken there is no improvement or further notice on when they will fix it.
I’ve been at 27 North for three years and it has been great. I think the best thing about it is its location. It’s a block away from campus, so you don’t have to worry about parking, which is a huge problem at Sjsu. 27 North’s rooms and overall building is pretty clean too. The only bad thing about is that the elevators go out frequently, which is partly the fault of the residents. Overall, 27 North is a great place to live!

This place is a roach motel and they will blame you as soon as you sign that lease. There are plenty of other housing buildings around that have way better management as well as amenities. The elevators never work and hot water is always going off the longest was almost a full month.

I have enjoyed living at 27 North and would recommend to it to people looking to move. I am concerned about the dramatic increase of rent prices, as they’re similar to The Grad, but do not offer a similar amount of amenities/benefits. Other than that, I think 27 North is a decent place to live.

I enjoy living here, considering how close it is to campus. It is also very great that the staff hosts a lot of events and sometimes provides free food to its residents. The repair man is also great at doing his job, and he completes any maintenance requests quickly. My only complaint is how sometimes things break easily; for example the blinds or the dryer)

Nice and quiet building, feels pretty safe within the building. Maintenance is really great at responding, as well as trash which gets taken out daily.

i think 27north provides a great space for students. you need the key to get into the building and they have security at night so it is super safe. You get to meet lots of friends because they have lots of events, they also give out free food every once in a while. The staff are also really helpful and the maintenance always comes really fast and does such a thorough job.

i love it here the community is great but sometimes there’s a lot of problems including roaches and always shutting the water off to fix things.

I enjoyed living in the area and amenities were nice. I like the environment overall despite a couple of problems when we moved in but the people were responsive and they came to fix it which was a positive.

Sometimes things take a while to get fixed in the apartment when we send in a request, but otherwise things have been great and the staff have been super nice and helpful.

Really clean environment, very happy to be here. Maintenance is very quick with coming in to help fix problems, and the amenities are pretty good too

It’s a pretty solid community here at 27north. At least within my own apartment, we are all pretty close knit and the vibes are good. There are some things that are pretty annoying like how long it takes for maintenance to come in and how cheap the appliances are, often breaking down or having issues.

i like living here because it’s so close to school however i did not like when the water went cold for three weeks. It was the worst experience.

I appreciate the card helps a lot. Thank you for the pool party it was good to meet people and have fun. The only two critiques i have are I wish the elevator was faster and maintenance request were faster.

Very clean and affordable for their rates vs surrounding options. An apartment complex like this is very safe as well. The negatives are mostly just maintainence issues that pop up like no hot water or elevators but they seem to be more of a rare occurance than normal.

Overall it has been a great experience. Everything is managed and run well. When I first moved in the bedroom was very clean and they had freshly painted the walls.

So far, it's been fine here. Everything is relatively clean with just a few small scratches on the furniture. Wifi's pretty decent so far. And there's ethernet.
