PROPERTY: - Housing type: apartment. - Bedrooms: one bedroom. - Baths: one bathroom. - Locale: top floor, up one flight of stairs. - Orientation: windows face west and south, onto 7th Ave. - Building type: mixed-use with commercial/retail uses on ground floor, so noises. - Car parking: none on site, public street parking. - Ceiling height: 9 feet approx. - Flooring: hardwood planks, vinyl Linoleum. - Kitchen: gas stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. - Windows: double paned glass, vinyl material. - Laundry: none on site, but laundromat located few blocks away. - No pets such as animals, dogs, cats, birds, turtles, frogs, or snakes allowed. - Room dimensions: - Kitchen: 10 feet by 11 feet. - Living room 12 feet by 10 feet. - Bedroom: 12 feet by 12 feet. - Closet: 6 feet by 1.5 feet. - Bath: 5 feet by 7 feet. - Closets: two - Balcony/patio: none. LAUNDRY: None on-site. See Woody's Laundromat and Cafe AUTOMOBILE PARKING: None on-site, but street parking available. NOISES/NEIGHBORING RETAIL USE: This apartment is on the second floor. Commercial/retail uses are on the lower floor, so noise disturbances may occur. Also, Park Blvd is a thoroughfare with traffic noises from automobiles, buses, trucks... Oakland is an urban area with high density housing and noises. Along public streets and road intersections, phenomenon such as automotive sideshows (street takeovers with cars) can/has occur, resulting in noise and crowd disturbances. UTILITIES: Tenants pay all utilities such as water, trash, gas, electricity, cable TV, telephone, Internet, and bulky trash (such as furniture-mattress disposal). In addition to rent, $70 paid monthly to property owner for water and trash disposal. Other utility bills will be mailed directly to you. PUBLIC TRANSIT: BART (Lake Merritt station) is about 20 blocks west, a 25 minute walk. AC Transit buses run along Park Blvd. Highways 580 and 880 are a short drive, situated east and west, respectively. Need "casual carpool" to San Francisco? That's near Lakeshore Ave and highway 580. RENTAL REQUIREMENTS: - Tenant pays all utilities: water & trash ($70), electricity, gas, cable TV, internet… - Excellent credit history/score. - Rental references needed.
