THE SPACE The entire 1st and 2nd floors, side porch, 1 parking space off street in driveway, others are unlimited on street, unmetered parking. Side yard with grill, patio, chiminea, ample lounge seating. This 1,550 sq ft renovated home blends vintage charm with artistic style: Danish modern furnishings, Handmade Amish quilts, Original artwork & eclectic décor, Open-plan living spaces, Fully equipped cook’s kitchen. All amenities are included. ROKU TVs + streaming, Vinyl records, CDs, stereo system, Board games & books. The home is ideal for: Couples, Small families, Short to Mid-term corporate or relocation stay. Sleeping Arrangements- Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas- Bedroom 1: Queen bed, Bedroom 2: Queen bed, optional twin fold out can be use in this room for add. Child. Limited to 1 adult per room for corporate stays. Open loft-style sleeping area: Twin fold-out bed with gel topper for guest. Living room: New Queen pop up sleeper sofa with topper Please note: The loft sleeping area is semi-open and separated with a privacy screen. Platforms may classify all sleeping areas as “bedrooms,” though not all are enclosed rooms. Outdoor Spaces Enjoy a private garden retreat featuring: Outdoor dining for 8–10 Weber charcoal grill Iron chiminea Lounge seating under willow tree, Seasonal flowers, herbs, & birdwatching. Additional free street parking beside the house EV charging available upon request MARC train station within a short walking distance City bus is across the street IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE BOOKING Not ADA accessible Side entrance requires 6 stairs 1 sided Open staircase and loft area pose safety hazard for toddlers or guests with mobility/balance concerns- Healthy Small dogs are welcome with approval Cats require pre-approval- terms and conditions apply to pets. Xtra deposit is required. NO drugs or drunks or raucous parties. Occasional family events can be pre-approved. Professionals and “gentlemanly” construction crews are welcome. All guests must be registered with the host. Everyone must have a legal ID, State D.L and submit a selfie with reservation. Mid- and long-term stays available: For mid-term stays up to 29 nights limited to 5 persons in one true family group. 3 adults max, 2 or 3 children. Purely Corporate/business stays limited to one individual per bedroom. Non registered guests are limited to 2 nights monthly at no extra charge, or a charge of $65/night for visitors not to exceed 2 nights weekly. For family rentals there is no extra charge for an occasional guest ( up to 2 nights monthly). All rentals will be charged an additional (we use an outside cleaning service) cleaning fee of $75 every 10 days. This also covers electric, water and sewer fee, full use of linens and bed sheets changes. Washer dryer is on 2nd floor Renew at 14 nights for the next month mandatory or rental will be opened up again. For family rentals the house can be somewhat “de-accessorized” to accommodate guest’s personal items. This accommodation would have to be planned in advance. Furniture will not be removed and replaced with guest’s furniture or beds, artwork, etc. The host is a seasoned Premiere host on VRBO and a Superhost on AIRBNB
