About This Home
Single downstairs room for rent in a family home with a couple of old-school veterans. Deposit represents last month's rent. Lease may extended to month-to-month after the 6 month term. The intention is to provide a place for somebody to use to find an apartment or house of their own.
This is actually a single-occupancy room for rent in a family home with a couple of old-school veterans. No pets nor drug-users/drunks/smokers, because of allergies, and...FAMILY home, duh. The "deposit" is actually used as the last month's rent. The intent is to provide a fairly cheap room for people to live in while they are saving up money or looking for a long-term housing situation, such as their own apartment or a house they want to buy. Occupants in the house include a downstairs renter, myself, and my family. So obviously I am going to be leery about a potential renter! My desire to be charitable is NOT greater than my intention to keep my family safe! You must have your own vehicle, and basically be a decent human being. You will be on the hook for your own food, any damage you do to the property or the personal property of the other residents, and generally not being a jackass. All utilities are included in the rent, but that is no excuse to leave all the lights on! lol

The Heights neighborhood continues to expand with new residential developments, while downtown features converted loft apartments above local businesses. The South Hills and West End neighborhoods offer apartment communities and residential options.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
