Wooster Square/Mill River is located on New Haven's east side, just a short walk from Yale University. Mill River is to the east, and Long Wharf is to the south. Wooster Square is an artsy and energetic neighborhood, complete with a historic district at its heart. The Wooster Square Historic District contains some stunning architecture along a beautiful, cherry-tree-filled park. Many of the elegant homes and brownstone apartment buildings date back to the mid-1800s.

Wooster Square Park hosts the annual Cherry Blossom Festival to celebrate the Japanese Cherry Trees planted here in 1973. The over 70 trees create a beautiful setting for the festival, which includes exhibits, activities, live music, and food. This event attracts about 10,000 visitors. The park also hosts the weekly farmers' market.

Horrible time in this apartment

The property is poorly maintained and lacks basic quality standards. They are likely to withhold a significant portion of your deposit for normal wear and tear. For instance, they even charged $900 for paintings—it’s clearly a scam. Essentially, they’re just looking for ways to take your money. A definite 'NO' from me.

Stay away

Where do I even start? Management doesn’t respond ever. Bottom floor they rent out for Airbnb which is probably the cause of the extreme amount of theft in the building. No cameras. No amenities. Very very very overpriced. Management doesn’t even follow their own lease agreements. Save yourself the money and more importantly, the headache and disappointment. Pictures look great, only if the living experience was as great as the pictures. I highly highly highly recommend to not live here

Move elsewhere

Poor construction, management company and owner are unresponsive, theft in the building, expensive. Many of the amenities promised on their website (bike room, dog wash, etc.) simply don't exist and there aren't any plans to build them. Also the building has two small recycling bins and they've told us to just throw out our recycling when the bins are full.

Horrible Living Experience

The property looks nice, but was built in a rush and with a lack of quality. Things are constantly breaking and when we reach out to get them fixed, a band aid is constantly put on an issue that needs more time and work. The property owner promises many things, but follows through inconsistently. Over priced for the lack of assistance and missing items that were promised in the lease. Would not recommend living here.
