Pets defecate in the hallway, apartments with roach infestations, constant noise and weed odor, staff does not follow any COVID guidelines, overpriced, rude staff.
I greatly have enjoyed my 3 years at 24 Jones. The staff are responsive to maintenance requests and I have had many very professional experiences. It is also very convenient for me as it is a quick walk to my job.

It's a great place to live, but has a high volume of management and maintenance turnover.

24 Jones is an excellent place to live in Newark. Its very close to the Newark airport, Newark downtown and all the major highways. If you work in NYC and you need a very quiet place to relax after a hectic day at work then I recommend 24 Jones for you. About safety this place is more safer than I contemplated. Theres 24/7 security on-site. If you need a home then I will recommend 24 Jones for you

Hi, We are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience! 24 Jones Team
Great work
Pros: great space, in unit laundry, clean appliances, 24/7 security and receptionist; Cons: poor noise insulation from above tenants
Please search elsewhere if you are looking for a quality living community. This building is becoming a product of its surrounding environment, no rules or regulations are enforced here. the upkeep of the building is declining AGGRESSIVELY
I have been here for a year and still complaining about a noisy tenant who seem like he's untouchable. Precious office employees have done nothing about it as well as current. The cops never have never gotten an answer when knocked at this tenant door that they referred us to file an harrassment report
Moving into 24 Jones was an easy process and the friendly staff made it a great experience. The building is clean and the location is awesome. Highly recommended!
24 Jones has been a great place to live. The staff is very friendly and make me feel welcome. Work requests are also completed in a timely manner.
I think that 24 Jones is a beautiful apartment building with a very convenient location and good amenities. The staff is very friendly, especially the doormen. The process of getting through to get a lease was a bit difficult, but once the issues were solved, the process was relatively painless.
24 Jones is a perfect community for those who love the city.
Just better equipment in the gym
Very nice apartment. Staff is great! The security guards are very friendly and helpful. 24 hour gym makes it easy to fit exercise in one's schedule.
Thankfully this building was built next to the Rutgers Campus and the University Hospital. Having the new super Shoprite next door is a plus, along with about a dozen other convenient stores and restaurants (Sarku – Yum! Huddle House – not so much). The apartment layout is decent (I love the washer/dryer in the apartment) and the gym is small but good enough for my workout. The 24-hour security is comforting, although I’ve never had a problem. The ads say bicycle parking. Don’t keep looking once you see the covered racks. That’s all you get for your bicycle. The free continental breakfast with coffee every Monday that the staff puts out is really nice, although some weeks the “fresh” fruit could be fresher. Overall, this is the best place I’ve found next to the campus and downtown Newark.
This isn't a good building if you don't fit a certain type of demographic. The managers are okay but the tenants and security are very anal and they will do anything to get you out if they don't like how you look or the company you keep. Stayed here for 4 months and it was the worst experience ever. Felt very uncomfortable coming in and out the building. And there were complaints about everything even down to my toddler running in the house when they were tenants that had dogs barking all times of the night. The security tends to mind your business and the tenants watch you as well and make secret complaints. It's too expensive to live here and the problems that come with it aren't worth it.
I lived in 24 jones for nearly 2 years i had a really good experience with staff, security and the leasing manager they were all friendly and ready to help. The Appartement are as described, the building is clean and kept clean like day one. Shoprite is next door so we did not struggle for grocery. I was surprised that the neighborhood was not like i read about newark in some reviews, i think the neighborhood is safer then lots of places in ny and manhattan itself, the police was present all the time everywhere in the area wich makes the person feel safer all the time. I never had any Probleme or complaint about 24 jones. Commute to manhattan was easy. Unfortunately we moved out to another state for job change. If i need to go back and live in newark the first spot ill lease in is 24 jones.
The apartment building is very nice, the location is great if you work at the airport. However, the managers attempt to sell you on the location for shopping and amenities....think twice. The hospital is very close, Jones St.. Is an arterial, that being said. Expect constant siren noise from ambulances, police, and the fire department. You will live directly across the street from subsidized senior housing, two blocks from low income housing, and in the middle of the new grocery store shopping center. I thought this was a positive at first, I no longer shop in any of the stores in the new shopping center. Between the homeless begging for food and money, people screaming at each other, and watching the police chase multiple shoplifters through the parking lot, I tapped out. Lastly, this building is VERY expensive for Newark. The building only offers a very small workout room. I will be moving as soon as possible. I do not recommend this property.
