Located in the beautiful Mahogany community, this transit-friendly neighborhood offers lake access, scenic walking paths, playgrounds, and green spaces. Shops, cafes, and services are a short drive or walk away. The area is also bike-friendly, connected to Calgary's extensive pathway system. It's conveniently located 2 minutes from Mahogany Lake & Beaches, 3 minutes to local cafes, dining & grocery stores, 5 minutes to South Health Campus Hospital and the YMCA at Seton, 7 minutes to Auburn Bay Dog Park, 8 minutes to Seton Shopping District, 10 minutes to Brookfield YMCA, 15 minutes to Deerfoot Trail & Stoney Trail Access and Spruce Meadows, 18 minutes to Fish Creek Provincial Park, 20 minutes to Calgary Zoo & TELUS Spark Science Centre and Chinook Centre Mall, 25 minutes to Downtown Calgary, and 30 minutes to Calgary International Airport. Major highways are easily accessible, providing quick routes around Calgary and getaways to the mountains. As this is a basement suite, there may be some noise from potential upstairs tenants. Quiet hours are observed from 10 pm to 7 am. There is a strict complaint policy: one complaint is a warning, and the second complaint results in eviction. Noise is to be kept under 85db, as a noise detector is in place. Strictly no smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes anywhere on the property. A $250CAD fine will be charged if smoking with the migration of smoke or smell of smoke from the unit. No parties, drugs, excessive drinking, or loud music are allowed. Events for work or meetings are allowed upon request. No shoes inside the home. Please be mindful of locking bathroom doors from the outside, as costs associated with locksmiths will be the responsibility of the guest. Tampering with safety devices/equipment will result in a warning, followed by a direct call, and a third offense will result in being asked to leave. Guests must follow all municipal guidelines for garbage, recycling, and compost; loose or improperly disposed waste may result in a $120 excessive pickup fee, and failure to sort waste will result in a $100 fee. Guests are responsible for any additional third-party disposal charges. Follow parking guides provided, as the host is not liable for any fees, fines, or towing. Essential supplies are provided to help guests settle in comfortably upon arrival; additional replenishments during the stay will be at an extra cost. The use of the mailbox is not included; a PO box can be set up prior to arrival on inquiry, with potential fees. If items are left behind after a stay, guests will need to arrange collection within 14 days of checkout, with shipping incurring a $50 fee plus postage. Electrical breakers are a last resort; do not try to fix or troubleshoot any issues with plumbing, appliances, or electrical without instruction. The host does not offer compensation for unforeseeable inconveniences. No temporary or permanent fixtures are allowed, and do not tape or pin decorations to walls or furnishings. Do not put food or debris down sinks, even with garburators, as guests will be responsible for any resulting plumbing issues. Exercise caution on the balcony, and all children must be supervised by an adult. Guests will be charged $200 for a Banff Pass and $200 for a unit fob/key if not returned. Late check-out requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance for consideration; unauthorized late check-outs will incur a fee of $50 for the first hour, followed by $35 for each additional 30 minutes. Alterations, such as date, guest, or stay-length adjustments, follow the same terms as the cancellation policy and are subject to host approval. For same-day reservations, the unit may not be prioritized for immediate preparation, and standard check-in times are not guaranteed; guests must contact the host in advance to confirm their expected arrival time.
