Whether your children are beginners or competitive athletes, the area offers high quality coaching, safe facilities, and a true community atmosphere. No pool so you don’t have liability of watching your friends’ children – but, Woodland Hills Recreation Center with pool, lessons, and swim teams is 2 blocks away. Our son’s grandfather went swimming with him 6 hours a day in the summer from 10-1, lunch and nap from 1-3, swim again from 3-6. Son made the LA Aquatic OIympics and even the AAU Jr Olympics in track and field with the West Valley Eagles. Don’t worry if you don’t have children. We moved here because of our son, but soon realized the unique location of the house with street parking always available for free without limitations right in front of the house. So, I closed my office in Westwood and worked out of our house. Clients loved it. Close to the 101 and convenient parking 30 feet from the front door. Although not part of the lease, we will leave you fridge, freezer, washer and dryer. If you don’t need them, or don’t want them, we’ll take them out. Pets are allowed. We’ve always had Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, and a California Desert Tortoise. No pet fee. You’ll just need to have the carpet cleaned when you move out to get your full deposit back. And, when you’re ready to pray and give thanks to the Lord, there are 9 churches, 9 synagogues, and 4 mosques within easy walking distance, and 3 temples within a 10 minute drive. Please call owner to schedule a showing.

Woodland Hills occupies the western edge of the San Fernando Valley, where the Santa Monica Mountains rise just to the south and canyon trails are minutes from your front door. Daily errands are easy to manage on foot or by car, with groceries and cafes well within reach, and the area carries an unhurried rhythm that sets it apart from denser stretches of Los Angeles. Retail corridors along Ventura Boulevard anchor the neighborhood's commercial spine, offering dining, shopping, and services without the noise of a dense urban core.
Rental options in Woodland Hills lean toward spacious, low-rise apartment communities and garden-style buildings, often spread across multiple structures rather than a single block. Mid-century ranch influences show up in many of the older complexes, low rooflines and wide, ground-level layouts.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
