Mesa Verde National Park is about 35 miles west, and the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is easily accessible. Quiet hours are observed after 10 pm to respect rural neighbors. Children should be supervised as wildlife such as deer and foxes may visit the property. Winter travel may require chains or a 4WD vehicle, and the driveway is plowed.
