About This Property
Absolutely STUNNING Riverview studio. Move-in ready, fully furnished, great light, so much character! ?? The private studio is a beautiful, light & airy loft with views of the Columbia River & the PDX Airport to the south and a cozy, peaceful English-garden-like backyard to the north. It is located within a quiet, historic 1929 home with really beautiful common spaces including a huge cozy & modern living room, dining room with a fireplace, full kitchen with a ton of light and character, and the laundry room located in the basement. There is room for parking for the tenant and for having guests when needed. The loft originally was a cabin space for a wealthy family in the 30’s so the huge open space with plenty of unique nooks makes for a very customizable living space. We are obsessed with the loft as it has some of the most epic light & views in the whole house. The monthly rent for the private riverview studio is $1200, utilities included. First month's rent and a security deposit of $600 is due upon signing. Lease terms available are 3 months, 6 months, or 8 months. It is fully ready for move-in upon approval. The neighborhood is stunning & quiet since most the neighbors are retired. There is a paved sidewalk across the street that leads to a nature preserve, Biddle Lake, and walking trails that goes along the river so you get views along the walk. It’s a quick hop onto the 14 (about half a mile up the road) so there is easy ac cess to Portland, downtown Vancouver, East Vancouver and Camas / Washougal. David & Jessica (the landlords) live on the opposite end of the home. It feels much like completely separate quarters. David is a freelance writer & film critic who spends a majority of his time writing at a coffee shop, occasionally in the living room, or watching movies in the basement. Jessica is a hairstylist who owns a studio downtown so she is out of the house working most days & when she is home she usually is either lounging in the basement relaxing with David, or at times cooking as she loves to cook & read in her free time. Sorry, no cats, but open to hypoallergenic dogs on a case-by-case basis. Preferred tenant: female. Studio amenities include a desk, mini fridge, portable heaters, microwave, and keyboard, which can be removed upon request. House amenities include a beautiful vintage shared kitchen, spacious living & dining room with river views, peaceful backyard, parking, and complimentary access to the Peloton bike. Showings available upon request.
