The Metropolitan sits in stately elegance on the corner of NW 21st Avenue and Everett Street. The arched entry is handsomely flanked by carved columns and features original floor tiles as well as updated wall tile. The feature lights gracing the roofline further enhance the art deco style of the building. Built in the 1930s, from the sweeping lobby to the quaint courtyard, it retains the impressive refinement of its era. This large 3rd-floor southeast corner one-bedroom is a lovely space. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with light! Even on a gray day, you have light! The front door enters into the very large living room. It feels more like an open floor plan of a loft. But it's better. It has a good-sized bedroom with double closets; a nook between the living room and the bedroom that has the original built-in armoire, which holds a lot!
