South Madison extends along Highway 18, south of Lake Wingra, to roughly the edge of Lake Monona. It includes several parks and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum. This large complex includes the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Willow Island, and the Exhibition Hall.
