The renter would take over my current one-year lease and live in the apartment in its current condition (see below). Rent -- $800 a month (includes cable and wifi; does not include water or electric) The Community Features --Exercise room --In-ground pool --Tanning bed --.2 miles from campus --Extremely quiet --Grounds and complex are well and regularly maintained --Parking available. --Extremely safe and well-lit Location --Across the street from: Lucky's Market; Dairy Queen; a gym; Sonic; Holiday Inn Express --1-2miles from Downtown Lexington and Rupp Arena --5-minute walk to campus (20 minutes to Patterson Office Tower; 10-15 minutes to Medical School) --3-4 miles from Walmart, Lexington Fayette Mall Livability --Extremely Quiet --Occupied by mostly graduate students and medical students given the proximity to the medical and pharmacy schools. --The courtyards between the buildings are very pretty and feature some outdoor grills. --Pets are allowed given payment of a one-time pet fee. Plastic bags and trashcans are dotted in the courtyards for tenants to pick up after their pets. Why I am Listing I have happily lived in my apartment for almost 4 years and love it. Sadly, however, I am listing my current apartment as I have to move out of state. The renter would take over my current lease and accept the apartment as is (and again, it is in excellent condition).

West Lexington is an unpretentious suburban sector of Kentucky’s biggest college town. The area’s east side is just a couple of blocks away from the University of Kentucky campus, making it a prime location for students, faculty, and staff to find various apartments and houses available for rent. The exceptionally affordable rental rates add to the area’s appeal for many current and future residents as well.

Wildcat fans will appreciate the fact that much of this area is close enough to reach Commonwealth Stadium on foot. Of course, the various university libraries, schools, and arts centers are also within easy walking distance or a short drive from West Lexington.
