Run. Far away. Unsafe area of Seattle with ridiculous prices, very aged and rundown appliances and interiors not well maintained or updated. The corporate owners, Chicago based I believe, and their investors, are excessively profit motivated and not worried about renovation and updates. This area has multiple brand new apartments with similar or better pricing.

The leasing staff and maintenance staff are amazing! Very friendly, helpful people! Always prompt and quick to respond to issues! The location of the community and my unit in particular is awesome! It is close to Gene Coulon park and the shopping center The Landing. But maintains a very safe and quiet environment as well!
Highly recommend living here. The location right next to the park and Lake Washington is amazing. It is very quiet and feels secluded even though we are very close to the city.

I love the community which is near the Lake, and for my more than 2 years of stay in this place, I never encountered violence or crime. Trees around the community is also one of the reason why I love the community. And the neighbors are peaceful and friendly.

It is a nice place to live; I've been here a LONG time. But each time contractors work on the buildings, or apartments you can tell the lowest bidder got the work or at least it appears that way. No one ever seems to inspect the quality (or lack of) work and have the contractors return to fix things which should not be acceptable to maintain a good standard of quality.
2000 Lake Washington is a beautiful quiet community! The Neighbors are friendly and the office staff is wonderful! The community is located right across a beautiful park with breathtaking views. LOVE it here!

Moving in here was a breeze. The staff is really kind and helpful. We have a beautiful view of lake Washington while still being tucked into the trees. Price is a little bit high for being a bit older of a complex. However maintenance and amenities are well taken care of around the complex itself. I do wish recycling was an option and that our outdoor storage door locked. I truly love living here though and it's a wonderful location and pet friendly!

Moving to 2000 Lake Washington was the best decision I've made. The complex is well maintained and the common areas beautifully manicured. The amenities offered are great (like pickup trash from your door!). The staff is friendly and professional and caring. And the view to the lake is superb!

In every aspect, 2000 Lake Washington is over the top. From customer service to maintenance requests, cleanliness and building and unit layout and staff friendliness. The management here really and sincerely cares their tenants. I am 100 years old and have lived here for 15 years. Here, you are treated like family.
2000 Lake Washington is a wonderful apartment in one of Renton's best locations. After just crossing the street, you can get to the park with a view on the Lake Washington. The apartments are comfortable and compact, and the price equals the service. It's a pet-friendly policy here, so there are welcoming all pet owners . Also, having a pool is a great addition in the hot summer months. In general, I am satisfied with my stay in this apartment.
Amazing location and the apartment complex itself is very clean. The staff does a phenomenal job helping you transition and I would strongly recommend this place to anyone!

Staff: Nancy, from leasing office was extremely helpful. She was kind and patiently walked me through the procedures and paperwork. She made sure the maintenance requests were followed through and completed before the move in. She clearly explained the move in costs; payment account set up. Along with the keys the office gave a welcome package with few move in necessities which was super thoughtful! Amenities: I love the valet trash pick up service. Pool, gym is always open and well maintained. The lawns are kept nice and trimmed. I like the way this property is maintained. Location: very quiet community, clean neighbourhood, close to school and by the lake. Walk to the lake is so relaxing in the evenings. Rent: I got a corner unit that’s very private and surrounded by trees giving full privacy. Compared to other places I looked, this apartment was pretty new, kept well, hardwood floors and balcony has storage. The rent is very reasonable. I am very happy with the rent I am paying right now.

The overall experience of living at 2000 Lake Wa has been pleasant, although we have been unfortunate and had issues in our suite-which management took care of. Because of the happenings going on in our world today, we have had some hiccups but in the end all was taken care of the best to their ability. We moved in winter of 2021 so are looking forward to summer 2022 and taking advantage of our amenities and location-right across the street from beautiful lake Washington!

This place is not for family, not for working professional. There is no sense of community here, lack of security and safety, severely lack of amenities, severely outdated units, smaller Units too compared to other apartments close by. Not recommending it here. Save yourself time and money and invest them somewhere around but not here. You won’t get any appreciating or loyalty for anything not even after living here for so long.
Pros: Close to the lake Cons: one reserved parking spot and the rest of the parking spaces are very limited. It may be a small matter but it gets irritating after you get home from a long day and cannot find a parking spot. My wife’s car got broken into a few months after we moved in. Her car was also stolen right in front of our apartment. Leasing office offered no help. Luxury Apartment but no security at all. Amazon packages are often stolen

Community reminders have been sent out outlining not to leave any valuable behind in vehicles/to lock car doors with the number for courtesy patrol included (although in the case of an emergency please call 911). In the unfortunate event that there is an incident of this nature, a police report must be filed and a copy of the report provided to the office. We always recommend that residents connect with the LPD to learn more about crime in the area. The team is also currently accepting packages on behalf of residents in the office; which residents can pick up after verifying their ID. Additionally, we are expecting to schedule another parking audit in the future. This is a true find! We love the neighborhood which is quiet, pretty and walkable. The grounds are kept well and the apartments are in good shape with constant improvements. Staff are friendly and professional. We havent had any issues with neighbors either. Everyone is pretty courteous.

I have been living here for a month, so I hope this helps. For me, 2KLW is a wonderful spot to live in, especially if you are new to the Renton area, like myself. In terms of convieniece, this is a good area for those who are looking to live next to the Landing w/o being cluttered within it. We are located next to a wonderful memorial park, walking distance if you feel like getting out for a little bit. Good prices and wonderful staff as well.

Best Property management team I have ever experienced!
This place is a great place to live. Less than a 5 minute drive from the Landing and freeway, and across the street from Coulon park. A nice mellow community with nicely kept grounds, and a responsive and nice staff. My husband and I have lived here for 3 years and have never regretted moving here.
I enjoy my apartment and feel the management and maintenance team do a great job.

As first time apartment hunters, my wife and I had a lot of questions about the process of moving in. The office staff was fantastic and helped us every step of the way, and continued to check in even after our move!
2000 Lake Washington is a wonderful place to live! Weve lived here for 2.5 years and really enjoy the apartment, amenities, and area. The staff and management are very helpful and friendly. Dog and kid friendly. We recommend this apartment complex!

The proximity to the lake is good, but for the price you could live in a bigger, newer, apartment somewhere else. Love the location, but the rent keeps going up with no clear indication as to why. This is an older complex that is not walking distance to anything but the lake. Not worth the money.
2000 Lake Washington is a perfect place to call home! Weve been here for 2 years and love it. We havent had any issues. We love the location. The rent is reasonable with the market price. Thankful for our parking spot. The grounds and amenities are always well maintained. The management and staff are so friendly and nice! We feel so very fortunate and appreciate this place.
2000 Lake Washington has been my home for 10 years. The management and entire staff absolutely make this feel like home and have become a big part of my extended family!
Out of all of the communities in the area, 2000 Lake Washington Apartments has one of the best management staffs I have had the pleasure of working with. Friendly and attentive to any of our needs. I have friends that live in surrounding communities that do not get the same 5 star service that is provided here. Paula and her staff are really great! Grounds are always clean. Communications regarding any property changes or announcements are communicated well through automated systems so we don't miss anything. I would highly recommend making this community your home as I have for close to 2 years now. No apartment community is perfect.....2000 Lake Washington is close.
I definitely recommend 2000 Lake Washington Apartments! My family and I lived here for 1 year & just renewed our lease. We really enjoy living here! Beautiful grounds, comfortable apartments, wonderful management, awesome amenities, & great location! The apartment is comfortable and we love our fireplace. We’ve not come across any major issues or complaints. When we request maintenance service, they are quick to respond & provide great and timely service. The grounds are well kept, kid & dog friendly. There are many spots to walk our dog & there is even a dog run. We feel safe for our kids to play in the yards & they have made so many friends! We enjoy the amenities that are open 24 hrs: pool, sauna, indoor hot tub, BBQ area, & fitness area. The amenities are well kept, clean, & always functional. The rent is reasonable & competitive for the area. Every unit is assigned a parking space & there is open parking for another vehicle. We appreciate every unit is individual & the utilities are kept separate from the other units; so, we only pay for what we use. The management is very friendly & accommodating! They make us feel so comfortable & we are so happy to call this place our home.
I have enjoyed living here for the past 6 years. The staff has been incredibly helpful and courteous. The location is great, and only about 20 minutes to Seattle (w/o traffic), about the same to the airport..

I should start this out by saying I do not actually live here, I live in the neighboring apartments on the south end of this property. I’ve loved this area for the past two years until two months ago. Every morning at 6am, I started hearing this noise that SHOOOK my bedroom window. It sounded like a jet engine taking off. I honestly thought it was the nearby Boeing until getting up one morning and looking out to see that it was some kid starting up their suped-up car on 2000 Lake Washington property. He revs his engine a few times before peeling out aggressively and is heard all the way down the boulevard. Every. morning. Like clockwork. He’s clearly put money into his car- cars don’t just sound like that. After a week of this ridiculousness, I finally decided to stop by 2000 Lake Washington’s front office to see if anyone else had heard this and to see what was going on. It turns out that two months ago, SO many of their own residents had complained about this noise that they told him to park at the far end of their property- which, unfortunately for me, is closest to my apartment. Great. The manager, Paula, told me there was not much more she could do and that I needed to call the Renton police every time I heard the noise. Ok. After reporting this to the police, they let me know that there wasn’t much they could do about it since they had to catch it in action and let’s face it, the Renton police have more important things to do than help manage a property that should already be being managed… After sharing this with the front office, all of sudden, Paula mentioned that she could send him a 10day or vacate. ?? Where was that two months ago? Weeks go by and the noise continues as normal. Every morning. I leave it be, trying to be patient and kind. After a few more weeks, I finally am confused as to why I’m having to listen to this ridiculousness after I thought it was being handled and stop by the office. Turns out, the manager never sent the 10day because he told her that he’d get his car fixed when he had enough money and that was good enough for her. Yikes. At this point, I’m certainly not hopeful that this noise will ever stop (thank goodness for ear plugs) and we will probably move when our lease is up. But I wanted to warn everyone else about the noise that management allows on their property and the lack of follow through with residents that don’t comply with their lease.
