Two minutes off I-91, yet tucked away and boarded by woods and tree lined streets, this location is the best of both worlds in being convenient and secluded. There is easy access to nearby highways, like Route 9, and only a quick fifteen-minute drive into Hartford. Cromwell Ave. (Rt. 3) is loaded with shopping and restaurants and is just down the street. One of the defining characteristics of the condo is the second-floor balcony and open staircase that leads to the first floor. This impressive two-story room fills with natural night and combined with the designer color walls, it is really a bright, airy, and inviting space. This living room feels so much larger with this vaulted ceiling and it definitely adds to the contemporary feel of the home. The first floor is where all the “wow” is. All the floors have been replaced with high-end provincial stained (darker) laminate wood floors. The combination of the darker wood floors with the neutral colored walls, gives it a modern feel. The entire first floor is an open, which gives lots of flexibility setting furniture up (all sizes of furniture will fit here) and is great for entertaining and maximizing space. The kitchen has new granite counters, new pendant light fixtures, white cabinets, brushed nickel hardware, and has been opened up to the dining space with a granite breakfast bar. This a perfect spot for two or three barstools and to check email in the morning with your coffee. There is a gas range which is every cook’s preference and a smaller pantry closet hidden inside the kitchen. The dynamite view is being at your new fancy stainless-steel faucet and looking out towards the back of the condo and your wood burning fireplace. You are part of all the action with this open layout. There is a new marble countered vanity and new plumbing in the half bath on the first floor. Washer and dryer are also on the first floor and included in the rental. There is an attached garage that conveniently leads right into a mechanical/mud room and then into the living room. Not many steps on the first floor with is plus with groceries. The best part of the condo is the private back deck that faces the woods and preserved land. One of the best spots in the whole complex! You are NOT boxed in with condos surrounding you here. This is such a peaceful spot and with access just off the living room, it’s a natural flow and easy to make the outdoor living space a big part of this condo. There is a wonderful open green space to enjoy. The entire condo has been professionally painted and professionally cleaned. The mechanicals have been updated and there is very affordable natural gas heat. The utilities bills will be very reasonable. Owner pays for condo fees, landscaping, cold water.
