Located about 10 miles south of Redding and across the Sacramento River from Redding Municipal Airport, Anderson provides the beauty of northern California with fast access to the larger city via the Cascade Wonderland Highway. Anderson's crown jewel, Anderson River Park, offers spectacular river views, a boat ramp, paved walkways, hiking trails, a disc golf course, a playground, and picnic areas. Anderson is home to the Shasta District Fair and Event Center.
