This 2-bedroom 1.5 bath duplex unit will be available 04/01/2026 as my great tenants have grown their family and need more space. I will have the other unit next door available May 1st as those tenants have just bought their forever home. (Each) The unit features ample kitchen cabinet space, a half bath in the master bedroom, another full bath with a shower/bath combo, a screened lanai with a storage unit for your use that blocks the adjoining unit's view of your lanai. There is a covered carport for one vehicle and drive space for another. I installed new hurricane rated windows and doors last fall, a new hot water heater and the AC was replaced last year. The roof and lanai were replaced after hurricane IAN. The unit includes a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, and microwave-hood and your own washer and dryer in a carport closet. No utilities are included except for trash collection. It is on city water and sewer. A vaccinated pet will be considered on an individual basis but no pit bulls, chows or similar aggressive breeds or mixes. No smoking or vaping in the unit is permitted. A credit and background check is required for each adult occupant after you see the unit in person and wish to apply. I require proof of income or resources that show rent can be paid given other bills. The cost of the inquiry is $34.00. I also require tenants to provide proof of tenant insurance before move in. The security deposit is for combined rent and/or damages rather than separate amounts. The place is in Venice East and backs up to peaceful views (and birds) on a small golf course. Each unit's back yard is separately fenced. You take care of your half of the front and back yard It's close to shopping, the Jacaranda Library, Woodmere Park, shopping, access to I 75, Venice Island, did I mention shopping? and Manasota Beach is minutes away. You will be meeting and working with the property owner who lives on the street and not a property manager or out of state investor.
