Welcome to The Westchester Condo. This condo is located on the boarder of Newington and West Hartford. A very convenient location that is close to shopping (Stop and Shop is down the street), major highways, Fastrack (across the street!), and all the great West Hartford dining/entertainment options. Newington is a central location that closely boarders five other towns making this a commuter’s dream. This complex is tucked away on a private road and has expansive open green space/yard. The grounds create a secluded, private, and quiet feel to the complex. The property is well managed and has majority owner occupied units. The condo is ideally on the first floor (no stairs!). The entire condo has been professionally painted with neutral colors and is spotless. There is a large slider that is off the living room that allows a lot of natural light in. A nice surprise is the brand-new laminate hardwood floors that run throughout. These attractive dark wood floors were replaced the existing carpet. There is no carpet here! Walking in through the front door you enter into the open common space of the living room, dining area and kitchen. This desirable open layout is an attractive feature that allows people in the kitchen to easily be part of the action in the living room. The kitchen is efficiently set up with a good amount of cabinets and counters for the space. There is a gas stove which is a big plus and the kitchen also comes with a dishwasher, disposal, and space saver microwave. There is also a perfect spot for a kitchen table. One of the best parts of the condo is the large bedroom. This is one of the largest bedrooms you will find in a one-bedroom condo. If you have large furniture or a king size bed, there is plenty of room for it all. Recently a new central air system was installed. It also has a newer gas furnace and water heater that are very reasonable with the bills (low utility bills here). Tenant would be responsible for gas and electric bills. Owner pays for condo fee, water and landscaping and snow removal are all included. A nice bonus is the storage unit (6 x8) that comes with the unit. Washer and dryer are located in the building.
