About This Property

Available now! Newly renovated home in Jennings Lodge. This is a 3 Bedroom unit in a duplex. The main bedroom is downstairs and has a large walk-in closet. The two upstairs rooms are small, converted attic space with low ceilings. May be better utilized as an office or storage space depending on your needs, but in the past these rooms have always been used as bedrooms. This is an old home and is not for everyone. There is no garage available to tenants, but there is plenty of off-street and on street parking. There is no dishwasher in this unit. The unit is equipped with a washer and dryer, but you are also welcome to bring your own if you have a set already. It has a large front yard and a decent sized fenced back yard (although the back yard is sloped it has potential to be a mini oasis with a little imagination). This home has unconventional flooring. It has a coated concrete floor. It isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it is very durable and will likely remain in great condition for many years. My husband and I (the owner's) live on a flag lot behind the rental. We have lived in this neighborhood for decades. It's a great neighborhood with a lot of great neighbors, although not every neighbor takes pride in their property. If your neighbor's yard not being well kept is a deal breaker, please feel free to drive by and take a look. Please take that into consideration before making an appointment to tour. All in all, it is a nice, quiet place to live. There is a lot of wildlife here due to the wetlands located across the road. There is a walking path through the wetlands (entrance is on the next block over). You will see nutria, squirrels, raccoons, lots of birds, once in a while a coyote, and you will hear a million frogs at night (and sometimes during the day).
