Downtown Denton wraps around its historic square. The Courthouse on the Square, built in 1896, is the centerpiece and landmark of the Downtown area. It is no longer used as a courthouse; instead, it is the Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum. I will just go ahead and post the things I’ve been waiting on a response from at the time of this post. Following the several instances of strangers using their master key to enter ( they gave us less than a 15 minute heads up via email at 8:30am one time of people coming into our units!) the most frustrating being where maintenance keyed into my home, only to realize they were in the wrong unit AFTER entering, I told them it was the wrong unit while they’re in my home. I asked to get an internal deadbolt as well as any way to look through my door ( like a peephole) as I have neither. This was met with silence. About a month later I was double charged for a utility, they elected to double down by emailing me about it, when I asked for clarification and challenged this I was met with more silence. I had a fun one too where a guest was at my apartment less than 2 hours and had his car towed, that one can be argued as my fault, but I also don’t own a car myself, so one unit one car is all I was using it was across a holiday, be reasonable. Currently there are 2 voicemails on the emergency line from well over 8 hours ago. Nothing. I do work remotely and remote support is an aspect of my job, I was actively on call myself while getting ignored by them, I’d be fired if I ran the after hours line like this!
Run away from this place, do not even consider living here. I did and it was like living in hell. They do not care of the property, tenants, or know how to properly handle transactions.

They NEVER answer the phone you constantly have to go up there . They only have 1-2 maintenance men so if anything is broken, it won’t be fixed. The emergency maintenance line is a JOKE. It’s cheap for a reason . i toured a 2 bed room to upgrade and there were roaches EVERYWHERE, on the walls, floors , cabinets etc.

I just moved here a few months back with my son. I love it here, the staff are warm and very helpful and the assistant manager always goes out of the his way to help. The property is well maintained and cleaned. I highly recommend here.

Seriously don't live here, it's cheap, but it's not worth the hassle, maintenance is nonexistent, and there are roaches no matter how clean you keep the place you'll find a bug somehow.

I just recently moved in to 1610 apartments. The assistant manager went above and beyond to get me into a unit because I needed to move in within a week. She worked extremely hard to make that happen. Was very sweet and was able to get me into a unit that met my needs and my service animal. I was able to move in quickly, and absolutely love it. She made sure everything went not only very quick, but extremely smooth. I've never had that experience with any other rental property. I'm very thankful that it worked out the way it did. Apartment is freshly updated,and very quiet. I'd recommend this place to anyone, thanks to her hard work and professionalism. She is an absolute sweetheart.

Moved from Kentucky a few months ago and needed a place to stay for me and my two kids. Was unsure of the reviews but came in and was greeted with kindness and care. Bryce (who is nice on the eyes) made sure I was taken care of and for the 2 months I have been here have been nothing but nice. Rebecca who I’ve only spoken a handful of times made sure I was accepted and gave me plenty of information. LOVE THIS PLACE. My two bedroom is so comfortable and reminds me of a quiet place where I grew up in. My only concern is if people start to find out about the this place my rent will go up.

The office and maintenance staff are awful to work with should you need anything, no matter how serious the issue like broken a/c’s, rats, dirt coming from the hot water pipes and sewage pouring out into the front yard every night for weeks.... they will not follow through on any promises made.

This place has really went downhill in the last couple of years, especially over the last several months. The grounds at times is a mess, trash throwed around on the grounds, parking lots, dog poop everywhere, pet area and dog bag stations trash is not emptied anywhere from two weeks to a month, dog bags in the disposal stations are empty half of the time, lawns are not took care of, grass can be over a foot tall at times. They do not enforce tenants to pick up after their dogs, dog poop is all over the grounds, sidewalks, and parking lots. I had a friend come over and stepped in some on the sidewalk. It was embarassing. There are holes out in the pet area that are a hazard, someone could get hurt or injured. There is also not many dog stations around the complex, where people can have access to. There are many a/c window units in windows here, giving identification as myself living here, and other tenants, and future tenants that a/c's are not fixed on a timely bases. I hope mine don't go out or ever needs to be fixed. and Oh my God ROACHES.... This whole complex is infested with them. It's digusting and nasty. The do have pest control, however the guy sprays the apartments with a spray can of generic raid, that does not get rid of them no matter how many times you request them to come spray. There is homeless people lurking around panhandling the residents, I think they live nearby. They do not enforce visitor parking, but do enforce towing, although the tenants have parking stickers, so if you are a resident, you have to roll the lucky dice that you have a parking spot when you come home and don't have to park 100 yards away. ;

First of all I just want to make it clear that most of these reviews were from the old management and when this new management came in they had to pick up from pretty much beginning because of all the old management’s not taking the time to care about their residents and only cared about remodeling the outside of the apartments instead of also benefiting the residents by remodeling the insides. I have lived here for five years and recently, thanks to the new management at the Vibe, was able to move to a remodeled unit. I moved in this weekend and couldn’t help but post before and after pictures from the old management interior and the new management interior. The updates of the new interior that the new management has encouraged and completed is absolutely amazing and it’s beautiful. Take it from me for somebody that lived here for a few years and has seen all the changes in different management this is by far the best management that this apartment complex has had. I highly recommend moving here and I highly recommend coming to look at the apartments and letting the staff make you feel comfortable. Thanks vibe apartment staff for all that you do! Five stars EASILY!

Finally settled in after getting accepted to UNT. I applied to college late and got accepted late. Found a one bedroom right when the classes started in Jan. and its super chill with a student discount. Got in quickly and pretty dope so far!

Watch out! They will tow your vehicle and lie to your face about it. There are much better priced and nicer, newer apartments on McKinney St and Denton in general.

This place is a DUMP. My door leaked and looked like it had been broken into because it never shut all the way. They said they would come fix it numerous times, but never did. They dont enforce people picking up after their dogs, so you can walk on the grass without the fear of stepping in poop; which also makes the whole place smell. There are bugs constantly, them spraying doesn't help. Once you move out, regardless of how clean you leave it, they charge you at least $200 for unnecessary things. The only reason I give it a star at all is because it makes me. This is the last place I would suggest someone to live at in Denton.

If you need maintenance done, you'll get used to calling the office until it is completed. This complex does not allow subleases, so plan on staying the entire lease. Utilities (lights & a/c & heat) are not included in the rent. The office staff is pretty helpful, you just might have to come in more than once to get things completed. Be prepared for little roaches, no matter how many times they spray, how much you clean, they'll still be there! They don't hurt anything though. The renovations are nice for the cheap apartment, a lot of things are just poorly installed, so be prepared for leaks, things breaking, thin walls etc. Overall a nice apartment for the price.

I looked at one of their newly renovated apartments and they are beautiful. The new owners have made this place brand new inside and out. The office staff was very friendly and showed me the exact apartment I will be moving into. Its also right next to the park where my kids can play and has a dog I.park for my dog. I can't wait to move in!
I absolutely love living here! It's been just over 4 months. The management staff has been awesome, the apartments are nice, the dog park is fantastic! Be prepared for bugs- we've had roaches consistently. They will come spray as often as you sign up for no charge but it doesn't eliminate the issue.

The Parks are a perfectly located complex, within 10 minutes of both major universities, within biking distance of restaurants, and close enough to enjoy events at the town's square and the entertainment district. The staff are wonderfully personable and maintenance incredibly helpful. As well as having an impeccably clean pool/ lounge area the complex also offers a fitness center, laundry center, and a dog park. The Parks are an affordable peaceful area, providing a cozy life to residence of all ages and walks of life, as well as their furry friends!
