Located about 65 miles northeast of Downtown Dallas, the rural city of Commerce is perhaps best known as the home of Texas A&M University – Commerce, one of the state’s oldest institutions of higher learning. Great place to live
My wife and I just moved out of there this month. We moved in the day of our marriage and have nothing but good things to say about the year and a half we lived there.

Great building and location, but you have to handle problems yourself
I loved living in these apartments. They are one of the cheapest in town for rent and utilities. The location is terrific; I usually just walked to classes and work, as they're both right across the street. Unfortunately, if you have a problem, you'll mainly have to deal with it yourself. The landlord lives about 15 minutes away, and is sometimes unreachable on the phone. Parking can also be a big hassle, as some tenants like to block the entrances and exits with their vehicles or park their vehicle next to their front door instead of in a parking space. Overall though, great place to live.
