Feel at home in this beautifully restored Rockefeller mansion, a one-of-a-kind gem in the historic Forest Hills area. This spacious 4-bedroom home is super close to the Cleve Clinic, University Hospitals, restaurants, and other Cleveland destinations. The kitchen features radiant heat flooring, granite counters, all major appliances, and a built-in seating area overlooking the backyard with original windows. The sprawling living room comfortably seats 6 people and includes a mounted Smart TV with ROKU hookup. The dining room connects to the kitchen and includes a dining table that seats 6. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet, a king-size bed, and a Smart TV. The other two bedrooms have double beds with a shared closet. The third floor is extra private and features two twin beds and a full bathroom. The basement is incredibly spacious with a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer. The brick house has a big driveway for parking cars, and the garage is available for use. Pets are welcome, and the number of pets is negotiable. This custom-built home is a landmark in the historic Forest Hills neighborhood, just a short 2-minute walk to Forest Hill Park and a 3-minute drive to Starbucks. It's also a 5-minute drive to Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals, and a 19-minute drive to Downtown Cleveland, Progressive Field, and more. You're within walking distance to Forest Hill Park, Starbucks, donut/coffee shops, and the Cleveland Heights Rec Center. Take a short drive to nearby grocery stores, ethnic restaurants (sushi, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, and Chinese), locally owned clothing stores, the famous Little Italy, and the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall. It's super easy to order an Uber or Lyft, and the local transportation services (RTA) are about a half mile away. This is an older house located in a wooded area of East Cleveland, so it's common to see deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and small mice around the neighborhood. The house uses radiator heat. Street parking is free during the day until 10:00 p.m.; please move your car into the driveway or garage to avoid getting a ticket. No more than 4 cars are allowed. Guests must be comfortable using stairs to access the laundry facilities in the basement. Please be mindful of noise level. Pets must be approved before booking. There is a security system camera in the kitchen area. Unless there is more than a 3 to 4 inches of snow accumulated in one day, snow removal is not provided. Snow shovels are provided for tenants to use in case of snow during your stay. Lawn maintenance is taken care of during the spring, summer, and fall.
