City - Grants Pass

Grants Pass sits along the Rogue River in southern Oregon, serving as the county seat of Josephine County and home to roughly 39,000 residents spread across about 24 square miles. Named in honor of General Ulysses S. Grant's success at the Vicksburg Campaign, the city carries a sense of history that runs alongside its easy access to the outdoors. Its location on Interstate 5, northwest of Medford, makes it a practical base for those who want small-city living without giving up regional connectivity.

The downtown core anchors daily life with local commerce and a lively event calendar, including the long-running First Friday Live gatherings and the annual Josephine County Fair. Rogue Community College serves as a key educational institution within the city. Neighborhoods range from walkable streets near the city center to quieter residential areas further out, giving renters a real choice in setting and pace.

The housing mix reflects that variety.
