You can work from home (with great internet!) in our beautiful Historic home. Norwich is a beautiful town with all the services you need within walking distance, + Superwalmart/Price Chopper/Lowe’s /Aldis providing delivery or easy pickup. Norwich retains it's small town charm and convenience. With charming homes and parks, a classic downtown w/ (takeout) restaurants/banks/drugstores /supermarkets, and bus service to Manhattan , it’s a wonderful location to headquarter. Our beautiful historic home offers its own separate apartment upstairs, (the entire second floor) with a keyed private entrance. The apartment has two bedrooms, living room, a full kitchen, and spacious bathroom, and excellent internet. Anthony works for a Silicon Valley company, so when we are there we need fast, reliable service, as Anthony conducts training classes and web-x seminars for clients worldwide. The main bedroom overlooks our backyard and gardens, and the antique carriage barn, and offers a wooded mountain view across the valley —better in winter and fall when the leaves have dropped. Don’t be surprised to see our resident family of deer in the backyard... this year it’s a doe with three fawns. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed , a double closet, and a large bureau for storage. The second bedroom faces Broad Street, and offers a double bed, and reading area. The fireplaced living room is furnished with two sofas and a dining table with chairs. We offer high-speed internet. The television is equipped with roku which will connect you to Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, Amazon prime and other stations for a variety of viewing options. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped — all linens, towels, sheets etc are provided—so you just need to bring your suitcase. We have offered executive and vacation rentals in Manhattan, Miami Beach, and Rio de Janeiro , long before Airbnb existed so we are well experienced in ensuring that our guests are very comfortable and have everything they need for their stay. The house is just down the street from Chenango Memorial hospital and a 10 minute walk to downtown. It’s a lovely walk as you view the beautiful classic stately homes along Broad St. The Chenango County Courthouse and services are downtown, as is are parks that feature the art festival Colorscape, Bluesfest and the Pumpkin Festival, as well as weekly summer concerts at the gazebo in the Town Square, and weekly Wednesday outdoor movies. There is always something going on in Norwich for family fun. The County fairgrounds are also located in Norwich.
