I’ve had a wonderful experience living in this apartment complex. The office staff are truly exceptional—extremely helpful, sweet, and caring. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance, they’ve gone above and beyond to ensure everything is taken care of. It’s clear that they genuinely care about the residents and work hard to create a welcoming and supportive community. On top of that, the complex itself is absolutely beautiful. The courtyard is always well-maintained and creates such a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. Nice apartments and the building is in a good location. If you have a pool facing apartment, it can be slightly noisy in your apartment at times. Paying for a parking spot is worth it. Overall experience is decent.

I have really enjoyed living at 1400 Chestnut. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I haven't had any issues with parking, the pool, trash pickup, or any other services they offer. The only downside is that they don't always send you an email/alert when you get a package in the package room, so sometimes you don't realize you have something there for a day or two.

A nice place to live! Now that we have food city in our back yard it’s even better. You can walk to restaurants, grocery store, also have a gym and pool a couple floors down.

This apartment was my best option as I was moving to Chattanooga from out of state and they offered a variety of leasing periods, however their prices increased weekly and made the leasing process feel rushed and stressful when moving is stressful enough. My advice would be to read the lease throughly before signing because they also require a 60 day move out notice. Was not aware that there would be no free parking (100$ to park in the garage). Neighborhood is ok, close to fire station so you will hear fire trucks constantly. The chicken factory can be stinky in the summer. Otherwise you are very close to everything and within 2 miles of downtown (frequently walk to coffee shops/ restaurants). Also right next to the brand new Food City which is a great perk if you need groceries.

So I come home from work early today and cannot park in the parking spot in the garage that I pay $100 a month for. My lease states that this agreement gives me 24/7 parking rights. It does not say that the apartment maintenance guy has permission to park in my spot M-F from 9-5. I should be refunded 50% of what I have been paying due to the fact that they have been using my spot, come to find out, since October of 2023. When my wife and I confronted the management team that has been allowing this they assured me that they would find him another spot to park in. I think this is totally dishonest and ridiculous business practices and I will be looking for my refund or credit...

Great place to live! Convenient to tons of place and now even has a grocery store in walking distance which is amazing. They have all the amenities you need pool, gym, parking garage, etc.

Great place to live! I’m going on my third year here and they have worked with me every year resigning my lease. Maintenance is always on top of things and fixes my issue day of the request. Staff is working to better amenities in the gym which I appreciate as well!

We are tired of walking down the hallways only to be overwhelmed by the smell of rotten garbage. Management does not enforce their policies on the valet garbage services. The same people put their garbage out Friday afternoon and it sits in the hallway until Sunday night. By the time it gets taken down the whole hallway smells like rotten garbage. Also beware of the hidden fees that they do not mention at first. The garage is always flooded due to a water leak that they will not fix. They add this cost of the water to the common areas and make the residents pay. Our rent is nearly $150 more per month than what was agreed upon at the signing of the lease. Make sure you ask these questions before signing the dotted line!
