It's a quiet building with 3 apartments and a store front. Located in historical main district close to restaurants, entertainment and shopping. It is a smoke and vaping free building. Our insurance does not allow pets, sorry. You pay all utilities.
This 2nd story 1,292 sq ft, 7 room apartment in an historical 1852 building in the Old Main St. Historical District. There are many restaurants and shopping in the area. There is a beautiful view of the Mississippi River front and 3 states out full length windows. The apartment has 12 ft ceilings and the original woodwork, doors and valances over the doors for light and air circulation. There are ceiling fans in 4 of the rooms. There are atriums and light shades in the hall and side rooms to bring in natural light. There is a large front room with a side room which was called the courting parlor in the old days. The front room is called the bedroom as per fire code because of the windows. There is a long hall with 2 rooms on one side with a light shaft. On the other side of the hall is a smaller room with natural light and a clothes rack. There is a bathroom with tub/shower. The furnace is located in a closet in the bathroom. In the back there is a large kitchen and dining room. The washer/dryer unit is located in the pantry. All utilities are separate with central air. Trash is located in the back alley. The average utilities are water 1 person $40. gas $40 and electric $100. All rooms are cable and phone line ready. A residential street parking pass is available through the city at $55. per 3 months. There are also lots available at after 5PM till 7AM weekdays and all day on weekends across the street. The building doors are to stay locked. Our current building insurance does not allow pets. THIS IS SMOKE AND VAPING FREE BUILDING. This apartment is good for 1 or 2 people as per 1 bedroom fire code. We ask for 1 year lease and 1 month deposit.
