Since this apartment is part of a brand-new build (you’ll be the first to live here!), we don’t have any historical utility usage data to estimate exact costs yet. The apartment shares utility connections with the main house where we will live, so to keep things simple and predictable, we’re setting a flat utility fee of $175 per month for the first three months. After that period, we’ll reassess the actual utility usage over the last 3 month. If you’re using more or less than estimated, we’ll adjust the flat fee accordingly to ensure it’s fair for both sides. This approach helps us all settle into the new space with clear expectations, and we’ll work with you to make sure the utility costs accurately reflect your usage going forward.
