Property Ratings at 1250 West Apartments
Did they enter my apartment and put all my things in the trash and change the locks while I was on vacation. Seriously? They didn't respect my privacy. This can't be possible. I'm going to take legal action because they broke my contract and the apartment is full of cockroaches and they are unable to do something about it. How is it possible that they continue to do this and no one will stop them?
I will not be renewing my lease here !! Maintenance is horrible. Office never answers the phone . My lock on my front door has been broken for 2-3 days and still no help ! I can’t even live securely in my own house . This is ridiculous. My first apartment and not so good of an experience here .
I would recommend 1250 West because the apartments are nice and spacious, the complex is quite and the grounds are kept clean daily. My only issue is how the price for rent changes daily, I wish I could have got my rent a little lower when I moved in, otherwise everything is good.
Noise from neighbors and the fact people place trash outside their front door and leave it for days. Parking availability is also an issue, which is worrisome at night.
These apartments are infested with roaches!!!! No matter what floor you live on it’s roaches everywhere!!!! They won’t do anything about it!!!!

I feel like you get a lot for the rent that you pay.
I would not recommend anyone to move here. I had to break my lease because of the uncontrollable bugs that were constantly in my apartment from the first day I moved in. The manager does not care about the residents. I asked them to move me to the second floor and they refused. She has promised to contact me at least twice and she never did. The bad part is I have to pay them for two months and an extra fee because I broke my lease. This problem was not my fault but it is their issue. Don’t let them move you into the first floor at all. My six week nightmare is finally over.

My interactions with the maintenance crew have always been positive even if I don't have a problem in my apartment. I would not say that communication is the most clear within the actual leasing office.
I would likely recommend this apartment community because I feel safe and comfortable here.
Good not great community. No amenities are going to shock you but for what you pay, it definitely gives you your money' worth.
Great service. On point when it comes maintenance. Easy to pay my rent online

I don't dislike this apartment or any of the people I've interacted with during my stay but this apartment community really doesn't have a lot in the close vicinity that is walking distance so i would recommend it to somebody with a small family but probably not many of my younger friends who want to go out and do things.
I like the community because its a quiet and well maintain atmosphere.
The only con is the rent.
The services I have received so far have been handled professionally and in a timely manner.
Maintenance is amazing and kept me updated on repairs and even fixed an issue that I hadn't reported. Could not of had a better experience with maintenance.
Loves: No reported issue has gone without a swift response. The grounds are kept clean and for the most part the area is quiet. I'd like to see a walking trail and better playground area(s) for kids on the apartment grounds. I love the ease of reporting concerns, making payments, and communication. The staff is super friendly and professional. Minor issues: From time to time there are water issues, water being turned off (always with proper notice) and hot water not staying heated - even after a new water heater is provided.
This is a great Apt to live in. Maintenance and office workers are very friendly
I love the view of the gym over the pool and lake and my kids love the park and gazebo. One of the best moves we've made! I love it here
Been here since 2002.I have been through several management changes.This is the best yet especially with the maintenance crew
The people that work for the complex are awesome. Everyone is friendly and have really made me feel safe and like family

This property is beautiful and very affordable. The front desk girls are especially helpful. If you are looking for an apartment to call home and feel like home go talk to Mariah. The ladies were awesome and nice, they were very professional in my opinion. They made me feel extremely welcomed when I arrived, they were very knowledgeable answering all my questions and concerns.
Very friendly staff and residents. Melissa did an amazing job and was very knowledgeable and welcoming.
I would definitely recommend this community. Maintence request are handle and completed in a very timely fashion and they are nice and professional about your concerns.
Appears to be a nice community with good curb appeal. However, The most important factor that played a major part of us making the decision to apply, was Melissa. Melissa was very professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
I would recommend , I'm loving my new , that I could call home. I love it.
I would recommend the complex to someone that would be splitting the rent only because it's a little pricey for a 1br.
I would recommend this apartment because of its peacefulness I sensed while visiting.
The community is nice with how it's located by a lake, and the apartments for the most part are well put together, but it seems as if new rules (and penalties) get added frequently and at times without notice. Also, the trash compactor fills up almost weekly, where people have no other choice but to throw their trash on a pile. I feel bad for those who live in the building in front of the compactor because when the trash piles up the smell is unbearable. I can understand how there's no such thing as a "perfect" apartment community, but at times there seems to be more effort shown in creating/enforcing rules and regulations than putting forth things that would genuinely improve the community as a whole and make it a much better experience for those who are already here and future tenants.

The complex (my building) is very quiet. However, the rent climbs each year with no updates to apt.
I wound but will tell them to talk straight to Nolan and the problem with the carwash and gym during late hours

This property is completely roach infested. From the very first day my family and I moved in, the kitchen was infested with roaches. We’ve put in multiple requests for the exterminator in the year that we’ve been living here, but he’s only come 3x. And he didn’t do much. Yet we pay a monthly pest fee. The trash compactor is always overrun with garbage, and tenants leave their trash all over, which doesn’t help the roach problem either. My family and I will not be renewing our lease for another year. We’re sick and tired of the roaches in the dishwasher, on the stove, in our food and everywhere else. We’ve done methods on our own to help, but the roaches keep coming back. Do not rent here! If you do, it is at your own risk!

My only concern for this apartment is the traffic at the apartment entrance. I visited this complex a couple times and noticed two accidents at the entrance. It’s so busy that it’s also difficult to get out

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I’m updating my review as of 2019 of August. I literally moved into my “new” Apartment because my lease was up new apartment it is infested with roaches. I wake up roaches in my bathtub coming from the walls, the drains, the sink. In my Dish washer every where. I’m literally freaking out and stressed out about it. Because my last apartment had bugs and roaches but not to this extent. I’m so annoyed. Maintenance was suppose to come and use the Fogger no one came, last week pest control was suppose to come and no one came. I’m frustrated

Unit 12- We have been here for 3 weeks so far (moved in 07-29-19). Everything seemed nice until we actually able to move in and get a feel of the apartment because we have a rich problem that still hasn’t been solved after reaching out to the leasing off several times a week. We have been contacting the leasing office to help sort this issue out and have been told multiple times that they would sending pest control out to us and twice no one has showed. At this point it’s a total inconvenience to my roommates and I because we haven’t been able to enjoy our apartment due to us spending over $200 in bug sprays and bombs, not being able to buy groceries, cook, or store food so we are spending money on food everyday, because the roaches are intruding. I have been trying to keep it cool but at this point it’s very hard to when none it’s very hard to when none of our needs are being met. We even took it upon ourselves to ask other people in the unit and have been told the same about them having roaches as well and not being able to have the problem fixed. Also we were told the apartment was vacant for 3 months but so far two of our neighbors have said that they moved out the day before we move in which is mind blowing.
