Navy Yard extends along the Anacostia River, from roughly Capitol Street to Pennsylvania Avenue. It includes Nationals Park, home to the MLB's Washington Nationals, and the US Navy Museum. The neighborhood contains the Washington Navy Yard, a National Historic Landmark. Established in 1799, it is one of the country's oldest operating naval facilities.
