We bought the property including a 1895 main house and coach house sitting on 1/2 acre of landscaped land with over 50 trees. It is a stunning property located in the Evanston Lake Shore Historic District,two blocks from Lake Michigan and a short 10 minute walk from Northwestern University and downtown Evanston. Its location is near Transportation: the Elevated trains to Chicago,the Metra trains to the North Shore,Milwaukee,WI and downtown Chicago. I have lovingly restored and updated the Coach house from the Coach Masters residence with a modern touch overlaying the historic charm of 1895. It is cozy,and very efficiently designed at 800 square feet; the apartment has windows on all sides and sits quietly at the rear of the lot looking onto the beautifully landscaped private yard and patio.
