Welcome to our cozy craftsman bungalow located just three blocks west of I-25 near the Bijou Street exit. Easy access to downtown Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City, and the Pikes Peak Greenway trail gives ample options for food, entertainment, and all facets of city life. With a shotgun layout and a very private, fully fenced backyard, staying in is easy, too. This 2-bed/1-bath home was built in 1909 and still has many of its original features, including oak floors and a clawfoot tub. There is also a washer and dryer. Please keep in mind that this house is more than 100 years old, so it has its little quirks. My husband and I lived here for five years, and we are looking for a reliable tenant who will love and appreciate this home as we have. As you’re considering the property, keep in mind that the bedrooms are small. The large bedroom with the blue trim is 92 square feet. It does fit a king bed. The small bedroom is 64 square feet. Details: - Rent is $1,850 per month - Tenant pays utilities - This is a 12-month lease. No short-term rentals. - First month's rent is due upon signing the lease. A $1,000 security deposit will be due before move-in. - Pets allowed at the property owners’ discretion. Pet rent is $35/month. - The house will be available August 1. - Please message me for a link to the application. We will NOT be showing the house to anyone who has not submitted an application. - We will reach out to qualified applicants to schedule viewings. Do NOT bother the current tenant. House Rules: - There is absolutely no smoking allowed on the property. - Renters must carry renter's insurance. - Renters (and their pets) must be respectful neighbors. Any prospective tenant must: - Have a good rental history and be willing to provide references from previous landlords (if applicable). - Show proof of income. - Be able to pay first month's rent upon signing the lease, plus a $1,000 security deposit prior to move-in.
