Whether reimagining a diamond-in-the-rough property into an absolute jewel or understanding how to tastefully present a new listing to the right buyers, Tom readily places his client’s goals at the center of everything. Prior to launching his real estate career, Tom was an elite alpine ski racer, later switching to freestyle skiing, where he won several major titles. During his illustrious athletic career, Tom competed in the X-Games and the highest-profile events in the skiing world. He holds a bachelor's degree in Radio, Television, and New Media, with a minor in English from Ryerson University in Toronto. A naturally confident manager, leader, and speaker, Tom also owned a restaurant and was the sports host for MTV News. He was the Associate Editor of Skier Magazine and co-founded a successful coaching program, Shreducation Ski, to develop world-class Olympic athletes. Tom also served as the head of sales, marketing, and events for a beverage company, overseeing the Southern California market. Tom often draws inspiration from his late mother. Since her passing in 2000, he honors her legacy by overseeing her various properties and continuing to make real estate investments of his own. Tom leads an active lifestyle and enjoys spending his free time on the sand or in the ocean, where he lives in Malibu. He returns to the ski slopes whenever he can. Passionate about helping others, Tom often participates in fundraisers and has cycled down the West Coast from Seattle to San Diego to raise money for several charities and foundations.
