Do NOT live here. Move next door to SOMA Grand, where they have professional employees, cheaper parking, and maintain a much tighter ship. At 1190 Mission, the security staff is highly unprofessional. I am speaking of a woman scheduled in the day, specifically. She is always on her phone, talking loudly on it; she behaves rudely to guests, and when asked to do her job. The elevators are always dirty, as though from a college dorm. More than once per day, there is some type of spill, food, or gunk on the floor--that's if I'm lucky to use an elevator, as they are constantly needing repairs. Overall, I would say this building is poorly managed, and I find the rent unjustifiably and unreasonably high, given that none of the management or staff will inform you of these problems before you sign the lease, which you cannot negotiate, as it is determined by a faceless algorithm. This means that changing the day you move in by 24 hours could result in hundreds of dollars added to your rent.

I love staying here very convenient for me and my kids to get around easy access to transportation and just close to my kids school I love it here. 1190 Trinity Center is in the heart of Mission Street and it’s a nice place to live in. I’ve no regrets residing here though the monthly rent is a bit high. This is what is prevalent throughout this area of the city.

I have enjoyed my time living here at 1190 mission it’s had been a great experience with the staff, building management, maintenance and security guards. When there is an issue the maintenance is very to helpful and the residential team is open to feedback. I feel safe here. I love the fact the building has elevator and a top of the line gym the cardio machines even have fans and tv’s attacked to each individual treadmill, bike and other cardio equipment. I appreciate the cleanliness of the building and the fact that I don’t hear my neighbors. Overall as a resident living at 1190 is, a very pleasant living experience.

Love my actual apartment once I'm in it, but the building is very poorly maintained to the point that laundry, the elevators, and usually the front door, are in various states of disrepair. Close to nice restaurants and museums/art centers, but would not recommend. I've also run into homeless people in our elevators or halls at least three times, so I do not have a ton of confidence in our security.

Things here are pretty good but not 100%. There`s always room for improvement no matter the level you`ve achieved so 1190 Mission is not an exception. In terms of commuting it is just opposite a Bus Stop so the proximity makes it easy.

This place is beyond poorly managed. Theres at 1-2 elevators broken on a weekly....at times all 3 were. The laundry rooms are consistently dirty and washers smell like rubbing alcohol. The trash shoot room floor is literally covered in trash from people leaving it there. The building itself is in the worst part of SoMa as well....overall I'd just stay away from this place.

I understand that management is going through a transition however, more times than not, the office door has been closed during business hours making it impossible to communicate with, or even get to know our new community management team which takes away any welcoming environment.

Parking and transit is very convenient. This would be a great community if we could have kept the grocery store and if the other tenants weren't constantly thrashing the common areas.

This building is very clean and well maintained. The garbage room doesn't smell at all, and is always tidy and clean. The mailing system and package room are very convenient and secure, making me feel safe and that my belongings are safe. My apartment itself is in perfect condition when I moved in, everything was spotless and functioning. The room is also very spacious, and the location super convenient in downtown. From the application process to move-in, everything went very smoothly. Ashish the AP was really nice and helpful, and helped me with the lease and tour. Highly recommend this property!

Great management team. Ashish helped me to have a smooth move-in. He was knowledgeable and nice. The maintenance team was knowledgeable. I love my unit. Everything looks new and clean.

Been living at 1190 since January 2015. For the most part I really like it there. Once I’m in the building I know longer have to see homelessness and drug activity and crime of SF. I feel safe.

Don't be fooled by safe neighborhood looks during the day. Get a concealed carry permit or at least a pepper spray and carry it with you at all times if you live here. I WAS ASSAULTED, PUNCHED IN THE HEAD multiple times and got a concussion. This happened openly in the "upscale" reception with other people present right by the front door by a regular delivery guy who openly tailgated me and then got angry at me for looking at him and assaulted me. He also threw my phone on the ground and broke it when i tried to call 911. Multiple people observed this and there's a video record by the camera. Concierge tried to avoid admitting they've seen the person before and could be helpful with ID (who punched me in the face) to the police. Neighbors saw this and confirmed the guy was there multiple times and flirted with and gave coffee to the concierge. 4 weeks later same dude shows, no action. Clearly they know him. Another interesting point is this is a SMOKING BUILDING (which i missed in the lease). The smoke might blow directly into your unit through external air intake. Literally, your unit will stink of second hand smoke and there's nothing they can legally do about it apparently. No washing machines in unit. No parking. You will have to walk to parking at least 2-3 blocks and it's EXTREMELY dangerous. They might tell you you can park in SOMA Grand but they are full. Been stalked by super sketchy people multiple times many nights in a row, my girlfriend was also tailgated. Nearby parking lot attendant was robbed at gun point. Highest homicide density in the city around here. Another neighbor also mentioned that he was verbally assaulted in the elevator by another tailgater. Concierge just lets them all in. No concierge for packages, they just drop it at your door or in the mail room. The stoves are electric and there's NO microwave (what?). They also don't allow bikes in the units (another weird cost-cutting) and I believe kinda force you to leave bikes outside in bike storage on the street. Strange place, strange rules, strange location.
The building is new and clean, rental company is quick to respond t0 maintenance issues. Centrally located and secure entrance, rent isn't crazy for the city.
The building itself is very nice -- the layout is genius and makes most of the space. I have a "junior" 1 bed-room. Really, it's a studio, but the way the apartment is designed makes it feel like a 1 bedroom. There's a long hallway from the front door that passes through the kitchen to a large room, which is divided nicely by waist-length walls topped with sliding wooden doors into a living room and a bedroom area: slide the doors shut and you have a private bedroom; leave them open and your bedroom and living room are intertwined. The management, on the other hand, makes it not worth living here. They operate the building like a cheap motel, nickeling and diming you for everything, despite the very expensive rent. For example, if you forget your keys they will charge you $50 to open the door for you. They also flat out lied to me about a new building being built nextdoor -- they said it will be a 2-story parking, when in fact it is going to be a 24-story residential tower. The company, Trinity Management, is infamous for this type of behavior. They have horrible reviews on yelp. My advice is to look elsewhere before giving your money to them; they will treat you, not so well.
The building is new and the management company is alright. The best part is the location and convenience for commute. The gym could be better. They keep it really clean and secure though...The elevators are always being used by people moving in/out so cuz of the rent hikes so theres always a line to use the elevator, but the apartments are actually not bad. Mine was unfurnished.
