About This Home
Flexible lease length. AVAILABLE mid-July through mid-November. Utilities, Wi-Fi, and monthly cleaning included! New to St. Pete and need a central location while you find your forever home? Just visiting for a bit of fun in the Sunshine City? Come stay for 1 month or more at our fully furnished and thoughtfully designed bungalow in one of St. Pete’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Less than a mile from I-275 and just footsteps away from Central Avenue with its distinctive murals, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and nightlife, this peaceful and sun dappled historic home will charm your senses with its character-rich architecture, high quality furnishings, and private outdoor spaces. THE SPACE: A fully renovated 100-year-old bungalow situated on our family property, and a featured home on the Historic Kenwood BungalowFest Tour in 2022. We have thoughtfully designed the overall property to partition the bungalow from our primary residence, and you'll have complete privacy surrounded by fences, bamboo, flowering trees, palms, and other lush tropical flora. Lounge comfortably with a book and a blanket on the West Elm sofa if the rare afternoon shower catches you inside. We provide some classic as well as fun local reading materials and games, as well as a Marshall Bluetooth speaker for that impromptu dance party. After a busy day of work or maybe mural and museum hopping, enjoy a delightfully hot shower (bungalow is equipped with a water softener for your convenience) and tuck into a cozy bed with high quality mattress and 100% cotton linens. The bungalow is well equipped for preparing meals (for example, caffeine lovers can choose from drip, Keurig, French press, kettle or even a well loved Bialetti coffee maker). Prefer to sample the local fare? You'll find no shortage of dining options within walking distance. This is a truly central hub with breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, museums, entertainment and nightlife just minutes away. No car? We are only a block from the Central Avenue trolley and the SunRunner bus stops with express routes that will take you west to the turquoise water of St. Pete Beach or east to downtown, Tropicana Field, the St. Pete Pier, Dali Museum, Rowdies stadium and everything in between. We designed both bedrooms with comfort and rest in mind. Bedroom 1 with its moody avian theme features a Queen-sized bed. Bedroom 2 is a blushing tropical oasis with a Full-sized bed. Both bedrooms are outfitted with room darkening shades/curtains. BARRY: Cat lovers will find our Siamese cat, Barry, to be an added amenity while staying in the bungalow, while those with pet sensitivities/allergies/aversion to cats may wish to consider alternative accommodations. True to his Siamese nature as a "temple guard," Barry patrols the entire exterior property, alley and sidewalks at his leisure. The column of the bungalow porch is one of his most treasured napping and observation points. You'll almost certainly encounter him occasionally if you're enjoying the exterior spaces as he's quite friendly and likes to say hello to almost anyone who crosses his path. UTILITIES: We cover all the basics including Wi-Fi. You'll need to log into your streaming apps -- that's it! The roof is brand new as well as the entire HVAC system and new attic insulation. We also equipped the bungalow with a dedicated emergency generator in the event of stormy weather. PARKING: Free street parking is ample in our neighborhood, but a dedicated off street spot can be arranged for an additional $50/mo. Unfortunately we do not have EV charging available. :( CLEANING: We provide a monthly cleaning service from a 3rd party professional at no additional cost. PETS: Your well behaved cat permitted with additional non-refundable pet deposit of $500.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
