The unit is the 2nd floor apartment of a duplex. We've held on to the charm by keeping much of the original woodwork and glass paned doors between rooms. The unit has all modern amenities, including a microwave, Jenn-Air gas stove, Bosch Dishwasher and Bosch Refrigerator and a KitchenAid Convection Oven. High end linens in bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking most any meal, and there is a Keurig/coffee maker as well. Street parking is readily available with light restrictions for snow removal (over 2" on alternate sides/days), and street cleaning (twice per month). No permit is needed. The neighborhood is a tree lined mix of single family and multi unit buildings. Two miles due south of the magnificent Northwestern University campus. Two miles due north of Loyola's Rogers Park campus. Very quiet at night, always peaceful. A mile from the nearest commercial area with great restaurants and shops including Kuni's Japanese, Campagnola Italian, Lucky Platter Diner, Paragon Thai, Hoosier Ma Pies and more! Trader Joe's, Jewel and Whole Foods are all within 2 miles. All that Chicago has to offer is directly south and you're only 4 short block from CTA's Purple Line or 7 blocks from the Metra train if preferred. Theaters, Museums, Parks, Restaurants, Galleries and Michigan Ave shopping await. To the north find the incomparable Bahai House of Worship in Wilmette, Ravinia Music Festival in Highland Park and the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe.
