1133 on the Square

Best place I have lived. I frequently moved after college and this is by far the best location, community, and staff. The apartments are clean and the amenities are well taken care of.

So far so good! The location is great, the amenities are always clean and tidy and the people in the building are always very friendly, maybe the only thing to consider is that the gym needs more equipment

My husband and I have been renting here for more than eight years. It is a wonderful community. The leasing and maintenance staff take very good care of the community members. All repairs and issues are promptly resolved.

I would provide a higher rating, however I experience issues with parking because there is no parking distinguished for residents, versus the public. Additionally, I would like to see the trash valet add more weekend days, which would only make since because that's when people are home and entertain in their home, which generates more trash.

I was immediately impressed with Jen’s knowledge and enthusiasm when touring the community. The building is very clean and modern and so far, all of the residents are kind. I know that I will be so happy living here!

We have had a very easy and smooth transition. Everyone in the leasing office and other residents have been very kind to us. We really appreciate everyone's help during this process. The only thing slightly inconvenient is not having our access key working for the parking garage and having to use the temporary single pass for 2 cars because we aren't always together.

We have lived in this building for more than eight years. The office and maintenance staff are amazing! This is a wonderful community with excellent amenities! The staff frequently arrange social activities that are fun. Highly recommended!

Quiet building that is very well maintained. Responsive to to resident needs. Excellent location and spacious units. Great amenities including a gym, coffee bar, pool, and rooftop deck.

This is a wonderful community in downtown Decatur. The staff at the leasing office go above and beyond to ensure the residents are comfortable. They are prompt in addressing any issues. Highly recommended!

Move in was smooth. Everyone was so helpful. Jennifer was great. She made everything so easy. I was impressed with how well the elevators worked with the rear entrance.

1133 on the Square is the perfect place to live if you are interested in living near Decatur Square. It is conveniently located near all the shops and restaurants, and walking distance from everything else. The community here is excellent and exceptionally friendly. Compared to other complexes around town, 1133 on the Square provides the best in maintenance requests, talking with the leasing office, and friendly neighbors. If you are looking for a long term or short term rental in Decatur, this is the place to be!

1133 is located in area that offers so much. Plenty of good restaurants and only couple blocks from downtown City of Decatur. Great in house activities that are first class and allows neighbors to get to know each other.

I have really enjoyed living in 2 units in 1133. location is great. Building is clean and maintained. Although we do not live there fulltime and consequently do not know many of the other residents well, everyone is friendly and courteous to us.

Apartment building has a faulty alarm system that randomly goes off with a deafening sound. Sometimes middle of the night on a weeknight. This has not been fixed in the past year. Still happening. If the rent is supposed to premium for luxury living - i would think this should be priority

The amenities include a clubroom, exercise room, pool, roof meeting area and more. Staff is very friendly. Maintenance comes quickly and gets the job done. The location is just a block from the old courthouse (Decatur square) and a short walk from the MARTA station. The amenities (pool, exercise room, recreation room, grills, etc.) are terrific. It is just a block from Decatur square and a short walk from the MARTA station. Most everything you need is within walking distance. The staff, management and service personnel are all polite and helpful. I would wholeheartedly recommend 1133 on the Square to anyone looking for an apartment in Decatur.

The parking situation here is very frustrating. My card stopped working, and I wasnt able to leave the parking garage for 2 days because it occurred on January 1st which was a holiday. I know its not the apartment offices fault, but it was hugely inconvenient. I pay $100/month for my partner and I to park here, and the parking spaces on our level are frequently all taken up in the morning by people I assume do business in the building next door. We dont feel especially safe in the garage ever since our cars were broken into and our windows were smashed. We love the apartment, but we will be leaving when we can mainly just because of our frustration with parking.

I searched a lot of apartments before deciding on 1133 On The Square. The apartments are nice and location is very convenient.

I moved from an apartment in North Decatur to 1133 on the Square back in December. The level of improvement from the neighbors, amenities, and overall appearance/quality of the units is amazing. All of the office managers have been more than happy to help with anything, and quick to respond to any concerns or questions.

I love being able to walk every where, there is so much walking distance including restaurants, shops and parks! This place offers beautiful amenities that great for all ages, you never even have to leave your apartment to have a great time.

1133 is a comfortable, friendly, safe, and luxurious place to call home. The leasing team and maintenance are so professional. Its partly why we felt safe moving here even though we only had a video tour. Its better than we could have imagined.

If you want a small southern town feel only 7 miles from downtown Atlanta, Decatur is the place to live. And if you want comfort mixed with efficiency, 1133 on the Square is the place to reside. It is just down the block from the old Courthouse and most everything you need is within walking distance. The apartments are nicely laid out and contain many conveniences (washer/dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, etc.). The amenities (exercise room, recreation room, etc) are well-kept and well-stocked. The staff is friendly and responds quickly to needs. Maintenance is both courteous and professional and take care of issues quickly and completely. I would heartily encourage anyone to come by, see the apartments and consider moving in. You won't regret it.

The repair was quick complete and clean. They responded to the finished job quickly.

1133 on the Square is a fantastic place to live. There are great amenities, the staff is professional and responsive and the rooms well designed. It is located only about a block from the Old Courthouse in Decatur. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to the MARTA station and almost everything you need (including some great restaurants) are within walking distance. I have been here for 1.5 years and would encourage anyone wishing to live in Decatur to check it out.

I have been a resident here going on 5 years. It has always been a pleasurable living experience. The staff is amazing especially Kaya. She always greet you by your name and makes sure the residents have special treats and plan residents functions as well. Thank you for everything and making me want to renew my lease for another year.

Also, it is only about a block from the Old Courthouse on the Square and only about a 7-8 minute walk to the MARTA station. I highly recommend the apartment.

Kaya is amazing! I moved in to the apartment about a month ago and Kaya is the reason I choose this complex. She has a can-do attitude and is proactive when you need help. She saw me unloading my suitcases and offered a hand truck. She helped me get the app so I can pay my monthly fees from my phone. She even helped to get me set up for package concierge. The apartments are beautiful with modern appliances, and they have a loading area to make your move in easier.

I've been living here 8 months. The apartments are spacious and modern. The location is great—it is a short walk to a grocery store, post office, many restaurants and boutiques, a Marta station, and an Emory shuttle stop. I appreciate that the management team is friendly, easy to contact or see in person, are quick to respond, and host nice socials for the residents. Downsides are: limited visitor parking, noisy clothes washers, pool isn’t heated and we could use a hot tub (wink wink to management).

We just moved into the apartment complex recently. We are extremely happy that we decided to move here! So far, everything has been outstanding. The leasing team (Kaya) has been very helpful in making our transition very delightful and expedient. The location is very clean and well kept; the common area is full of flat screens and a business suite! Finally, the location is awesome. 1133 On the Square got it right.....as they say...Location, Location, Location!!

I have been here for 7 months now, and I can't say enough good things about this apartment complex. Management is super nice, on site, and very responsive. Maintenance has been fantastic. Building is very quiet yet steps from downtown Decatur and all its great food and shopping. I LOVE my apartment - even for a studio, it is HUGE! With a walk in closet!!! And, being on the top floor, it is extremely quiet and overlooks a quiet side street. Pet friendly but I never hear barking or other noise from my neighbors. Again, this is an all around fantastic place to live!

I've been living at Alexan 1133 for almost a year now, and I couldn't be happier. The Leasing Agents are amazing, the maintenance team is phenomenal - but above all, it is all about location. I was hesitant at first to move - because no one likes to move - but the Alexan 1133 team were more than helpful and they helped me with a smooth transition. The property is always clean and well-kept and the location makes it perfect for living in the city without the crime.
