2nd story apartment for rent near downtown North Augusta, SC. Requirements: - must be able to pass background check, including a decent credit record. ALL potential tenants will be screened. - must be able to provide places of residence over last 5 years - must have a monthly income of at least $3000, before taxes - no smoking allowed inside the unit - move-in costs will be $2000 (security deposit + 1st month's rent), plus $40 paid directly to third-party background/credit screening. Dominion Energy may require (I think) $100 fee to put the energy bill in renter's name, but this is not common and I'm not sure how they decide whether or not to do that. - there is no application or spot reservation fee, just the background/credit check, and the applicant will only have to pay that near the end of the process if they are seriously being considered. - pets are allowed for a one-time non-refundable fee. $200 for the first pet and $50 for every pet after that. Again, this is a one-time fee, not an addition to your monthly rent. I don't have a hard limit on the number of pets, but there is a limit we'll determine on a case-by-case basis. Security deposit is equal to 1 month's rent. Length of lease is one year with option to renew. Upon renewal, the lease will default to a month-to-month lease, so you won't be locked in for another year. There is a driveway for parking, but the garage below the apartment is used by the owner as a workshop/storage which cannot be used by the tenant for those purposes, but the laundry machines are down there and you are welcome to use those whenever you like. You will not have to share walls with other residents. Trash collection and water are covered by owner. There is a dishwasher, stove/oven, and refrigerator in the unit. Tenant must move electricity into their name at move-in. The apartment is cooled and heated by 2 window units. There are 3 dogs on owner's property, separated from the apartment by a fence and a driveway. You will have an entire fenced-in yard with a nice balcony view at your disposal, and there's even a trampoline, but if you get hurt, that's on you. The apartment also comes partially furnished. You can choose to have the furniture remain or we can move some or all of it out, up to you. Available for move-in as soon as possible. Call owner to schedule a viewing.
