Front office staff is not friendly and will not answer phone calls. Maintenance takes months to look at any issues and does not fix things properly. There is trash everywhere. Giant pot holes all over the property. We've been dealing with roaches even though they have charged me multiple times a month for pest control. We've had the cops show up to the people across the hall at 2 in the morning. Pool got shut done for failing inspection because it was absolutely disgusting. Don't waste your money here.
There is nothing "Luxury" about this complex. "Minutes from downtown" can be up to 30 minutes when traffic is bad. The appliances may have been nice a decade ago. The trash is constantly overflowed into the street. "Gated Community" we've lived here for 2 years and the gate has worked maybe a total of 5 months. The "Custom cabinets" are the plain Jane cheap brown cabinets from Lowes. Not a single lake, they're all dirty ponds.
The maintenance is a joke. There’s never staff to take care of anything and there is NO maintenance phone number for tenants to call. You have to email the manager, who is wonderful, but doesn’t have the help. Everything just spins in circles. The property and fountains are filthy. The units are rundown. I don’t even want to waste my time ranting—but move here at your own risk.
From the minute I looked at The Trellis Apartments online, I felt a sense of calm and peaceful energy-just from the pics on the web alone. I am relocating to Savannah in the next month, and I am proud to say that I made The Trellis my choice. Marissa and Rivers have been so sweet, kind, and PROFESSIONAL. Every email I've sent to Marissa was responded to efficiently and immediately. When I came to visit The Trellis and explore the local area surrounding the apartments, I felt even more at ease. Rivers greeted me with a smile, and it was nice to see her dog! I have a fur baby and it appears that it is a very pet friendly environment. THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT: However, when individuals are impacted by mental health challenges, it can be nerve wrecking to go through all of the necessary searches for a new home in a new city. Marissa listened to me with empathy, care, and concern. That is what I look for-as well as HONESTY and INTEGRITY. I look forward to living here in the upcoming month.
This is the nastiest place I’ve ever lived. There’s pot holes big enough to lay down inside of them, been this way for months. When asked I was told “we will see if we can put it in the budget next year”! Upon moving in I was NEVER told convicts and criminals lived there. There’s 4-5 convicts at a time in a two bedroom apartment. The trash receptacle is backed up into the street and walkway. Literally a mountain of trash bags as you pull into the complex. When I lived in I wasn’t allowed to see my apartment they say it’s “Covid protocol” bc if I would’ve seen it first I would NOT have moved in. There’s huge black stains on the floor, possibly blood. And there’s a stench we can’t get rid of. Absolutely the nastiest place ever! If you’re a hood rat this is your place!
Great place to live. Apartments are nice on the inside and rooms are a good size. Maintenance was AMAZING! Always quick and efficient. Great communication. Staff was not always welcoming and friendly but it’s not like I had to see them daily. ?? Gate was always broke! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I found this apartment on apartments.com back in January of 2018. I looked at the apartment in March and by the end of April we were moved in. Its been a little over a year now and nothing has changed. The staff is consistent and the office manager Marissa is amazing. Any concerns I had about my previous complex she made sure I didn't have anything to worry about living here. The apartments are spacious and the neighborhood is very friendly.

This is an awesome neighborhood! I’ve been here for 5 months now and the community itself is beautiful. Dog friendly as they have a fun little dog park and a small lake for the dogs to run around and play at. ALSO very affordable!! That’s the best thing!

I’ve been here for a few months and so far everything has been amazing. The staff in the office is very helpful. When we moved in they let us pick the floor we wanted to stay on and got us set up quickly. Maintenance hasn’t been an issue so far and they even give you the option to pay your rent online. I would recommend this apartment complex to everyone.

I’ve lived here for about 8 months and I’ve had a pleasant experience overall. We had a preference on which floor we lived on and they had no issues accommodating. I enjoy access to the gym, and pool. It’s also a gated community, the apartments are nice & personally I’ve had no issues with maintenance. Anytime I have an issue the ladies in the leasing office are always willing to help and get things figured out. I would recommend trellis apartments

This is the best apartment I have lived in in Savannah. I've been here a little over 2 years, and am very happy with the way things are. The office staff are always helpful and the maintenance has always come quickly anytime I've ever needed them. The gym is great, we have a lot of stuff that other places don't have. They have had a couple management changes which can be confusing, but we have had pretty much the same people that work here the whole time, so it's reassuring to always see the same faces when I go to the office. The pool was down last summer for a while because they completely renovated it, which was a bummer to be with no pool, but it was worth it. I plan on being in Savannah for at least 3 more years, and don't plan on leaving my apartment until I have to relocate

Apartment complex is a disaster. I’ve tried reaching out to the staff at the management building. They never answer their phones. There is only one gal in there who is helpful and she’s brand new. Residents report work orders taking upwards of 12 weeks to be completed if that. The maintenance is shotty. My AC went out on a Friday and it was 87 degrees in my apartment. I was told that despite my dog laying on the ground panting and myself sweating inside of the apartment that it wasn’t an emergency unless it was 85 degrees or higher outside. So my pup sat with me all weekend as we melted. The hallways are a mess. The streets littered with trash. Regional management doesn’t return phone calls and the gate in front has been broken since February. I pay for my key to get in and people come and go as they please for free at this point so why did I pay $20 for a key to the gate? Also there were vehicle break ins due to people coming in through the broken gate, and the management didn’t put out a single letter informing residents nor did they hire security or take ANY additional measures to protect residents. The pool water is green with hair floating in the water. The BBQ area is trashed. The bathrooms at the pool are embarrassing to send guests to due to how un clean they are. The dumpster overflows 6 days a week and there are around 6-7 mattresses along with lawn sets behind the dumpster. Oh and there’s been a birds nest in the dog poop bag stand at the dog park since December. So when I go to the dog park, I have to bring my own bags. To top everything off. It’s amusing that the cost of rent went up, but the customer service went down drastically. This is only a partial review. There are many more complaints and I will be moving in the next few months. I wish I could attach photos to this review because I have around 20 photos from cigarettes in the planters, to tree trimmings laying around, to overflowing trash cans, all the way to the green pool water.

We had problems with this office. Constantly had incorrect rent amounts and contract renewal dates were not correct. Don't bother leaving a forwarding address or phone number, they won't contact you about any final payments. They will send it straight to debt collections.
I have been living at the Trellis Apartment Homes for 2 years now and although there have been some ownership changes, the staff works diligently to make the transitions as smooth as possible. They go out of their way to make certain that if there is a problem the resolution is performed quickly and to the residents' satisfaction. They are pet friendly to the point that dog biscuits are kept on the leasing agents' desk, and have recently updated the dog park. They have also recently updated the children's park area. The pond plays host to wildlife such as geese and turtles, and there is an assortment of wild birds such as cardinals and painted buntings on the property. The management and maintenance staff are constantly striving to improve the environment whether it is adding new gym equipment or replacing all of the breezeway lights with LED lights. Family friendly, pet friendly and a host of accommodations! Living here is a pleasure for sure!
