We visited several complexes at PCB this past week and selected 10X. We did like the location and physical property but the real “difference maker” was the service that we received from Michelle Bolton! She was very thorough in answering all of our questions and made us feel welcomed and at home. Her spirit was engaging and refreshing! Good customer service seems to be a rare find these days and the exceptional customer service that she provided made our experience great!

Maintence came in and checked my ac with very polite and answered all my questions there going to be back tommorw to check the ac they are awesome great place to live very nice love this place

The staff here are very hardworking and very kind, however they are not often able to help with some of our bigger issues, such as when common area amenities break, they are not repaired or replaced. Gates, DogPark, Pergolas, Grills, Exterior lighting, Uneven sidewalks, Pet Waste bins. I do enjoy living here with me fellow residents but seems the owner need to fund some TLC to their investment.

We just started moving in and they have been nothing but great to us and or kids! Katie is our leasing agent and she was absolutely amazing. I emailed her the receipt of our direct deposit and in the same email told her we were heading in and she already had our welcome packet and keys waiting for us!

They have been nothing but great to me. Had a few problems but they were on it right away and got it resolved fast. I would recommend this place to any friends that plan on moving to the area.
This is not a gated community. The parking is the worse ever . People let their dogs poop everywhere and don't pick it up. Valet trash work whenever they want. Staff works on their own schedule. Maintenance is good, the pool area is good, the apartments itself needs updating but it will do.
Save yourself the headache of living here and keep looking. The office staff is very rude and maintenance have no idea how to fix a sink leak or a toilet. The pond smells horrible so dont get an apt near it. They say they’re pet friendly but they’re not! The dog park is pathetic and there’s always really loud music being played at the pool at night and people screaming. It’s not a quiet or peaceful place. Like I said, save yourself the headache.
If you get Robert as your leasing agent, know that you’ll be in amazing hands! He has been extremely helpful during this stressful time of finding housing here in PCB post-hurricane Michael. Very accommodating, helpful, and upbeat. Thanks for everything, Robert!

I wouldn't recommend renting here. They have a lot of issues. They don't have enough maintenance people. There is a lot of dirty places around the complex. They need to upgrade appliances. LOTS OF THINGS!
We've been moved in for a couple of weeks now, and we are very happy with these apartments. The ceilings are much higher than expected (we moved in without previously looking at them) and all rooms have lots of natural light. The grounds are very well kept and clean, and the pool was just remodeled and is really nice. My only complaint is that there is a sewage smell outside sometimes. At first we thought it was just because it was rainy, but we have smelled it on several occasions, and on completely dry and sunny days. The carpet is also pretty low quality (not a lot of padding), but it's an apartment, so it's not a huge deal. Overall it's been a great few weeks. Highly recommend!
I looked at these before I moved to "Moldyville" at 79 West- DO NOT MOVE THERE. They seemed nice for the money but they have gone up way beyond what they are worth imo. They used to be managed by Greystar so 79 west put me up for a night at Retreat while they tried to remediate my mold situation at 79 WEST. The apartment at Retreat that they put me up in had urine stains ALL over the carpet, it was so nasty I brought my own blanket and pillow and kept shoes on until I went to sleep on couch. I hope this was isolated apt but I doubt it, this place was NASTY, the people in the office were rude, it seems it is very difficult to find professional, caring people who work in PCB
Looking for a place near the beach, but want out of the hustle and bustle of the crowds. It's two minutes from the beach and 5 minutes to shopping. Yet it's quiet here. We are just minutes from highway 79. Have kids? We are near Frank Brown Park. Heard of Pier Park? Near that too. Check The Retreat out online for details, you'll be glad you did.
Easy walk to the beautiful Emerald Coast beach, well taken care of property, and friendly and responsive staff. The only thing I'd ask for is more counter space but maybe I'm just picky.
Overall, maintenance does a good job of fixing any issues you might have. However, the leasing office will completely ignore you once you have signed a lease and moved in. So, unless you go in and speak with them face to face it's almost impossible to communicate with them. The community itself is well kept, relatively quiet, and has some ok amenities. The game room has a destroyed pool table in it and thats all. The pool is a zero-entry which I don't like because the entire pool is shallow and there is no way to fully swim good laps to get any exercise. However, they do have a clean and well-kept 24 hr fitness center which is nice and saves on a gym membership. They also have a dog park, which I wish they took better care of but overall it's nice to have a space for my dog without having to drive across town to a dog park. Neighbors are great to deal with. If you have an issue (or they do) people are approachable and don't seem to make too much of a fuss about noise or anything. Again, overall the apartments are good. They are lacking in a few areas but nothing that makes me hate living here. It has been an enjoyable and positive experience up to this point.
