About This Property

This townhome is a 3 story, brand new construction with many upgrades throughout. The most significant upgrade is an elevator which simply can make life easier for getting groceries to the kitchen or for people less capable of walking 2 or 3 flights of stairs. Another upgrade includes white oak wood floors throughout the living areas and beautiful tile floors in the entrance way and bathrooms. The kitchen and bathrooms are designed with granite countertops throughout. The granite on the kitchen island is amazing. It has a gorgeous flow of color in the rock, resembling to me the pattern of a gently winding river. The kitchen is designed for with plenty of space for both cooking and socializing! There is large pantry and more than enough cabinets to store even the rarely used items. The kitchen is always a gathering place for get-togethers and sharing meals. With the large island and a wall of counters, several people could work together at the same time ! There are 2 decks, one on the second level and one on the third level. Pikes Peak and all its glory are magnificent from either deck. And of course both decks are large enough for furniture, for a grill, and for an outdoor social gathering. Location, location, location. Manitou Springs, CO is a highly coveted location in which to live and this townhome is one of very few places currently available to rent. The location couldn't be more perfect. It is only 2 blocks south from one of the entrances to Garden of the Gods where there are many hiking paths and a walking/biking lane that parallels the road throughout the park. Rock climbing is allowed with a permit. Another beautiful community park is 1 block south of the townhome. There is a bike path that goes through that park and connects to the entire system of bike routes throughout Manitou and Colorado Springs. Downtown Colorado Springs is only 10 minutes away. The small community offers many local events that draw crowds from miles around. Two well-known events include the famous Fruitcake Toss after the holidays and the Coffin Races at Halloween. Several parks, bike paths, the Manitou indoor and outdoor swimming pool are all within walking distance. It is a perfect place to live and to all your home. The room on the ground level is designed to be either an office or bedroom. If you work from home, it is separated enough from the rest of the house enabling you to work with fewer distractions.
