Well, we spent a year in an apartment while our home was getting built. We both had not lived in an apartment since our younger days! The management, the maintenance crew and the total package of amenities is a huge plus! Even when we had to extend our stay in the apartment , the staff was so understanding!! Definitely a great place to make it your place to enjoy!!

I would leave an excellent review if it weren’t for the trash and the incurring stains all over the breezeways. Other than that we really enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. It’s a great place for dogs, walking, and exercising. The indoor and outdoor gyms are amazing. The events several times a month are also a bonus.

It’s mine and my brother’s first time renting, and we had a very short timeframe to find our home. As soon as we came and toured 1000 West, we had a feeling we’d found what we’d been looking for and applied shortly thereafter. Management was incredible, especially Mike and Matt, whose consideration and care greatly eased our move-in process, making what was a rather chaotic time of our lives so much less stressful. It’s been such a blessing to make this beautiful place our home!

This place has it all. Quiet, luxurious, peaceful. The amenities are out of this world nice.
No parking available in the entire complex. Inconvenience to not be able to park where you live or relatively close to your building.

Why would you put hardwood floors in apt building not built with insulation as it is! With carpet we heard the neighbors upstairs now with hardwood floors it sounds like elephants shaking the apt! The pool is always closed & the trash compactor is always broken.

No parking. Pool closed half of summer. No building upkeep, trash everywhere. Cheap renovations. Traffic from every angle to get to and from this location. Stay away.

For the 2nd summer in a row The pool has been closed more than it has been open! Last summer it was may be open two weeks and now this summer maybe three or four weeks with a currently being closed and I never see anyone they are working on fixing it! Also we renters have not been given any compensation for not having this major amenity! I have tried many times both last summer and this summer to find out the contact information for someone in their corporate office but I am just ignored! we pay to high of rent to not be have able to have a pool! Also my air conditioning has been broken for over a week and during this time when I’ve tried to communicate with them about this I just get the runaround until I finally went into the office since they were not calling me back!

Since new management has taken over earlier this year, this place has went to hell! We are in the heart of the summer and the pool has been closed for NO REASON! No compensation given to residents but they sure did increase the rent! Parking is horrible because they’ve also got the parking lot tore up, which takes away parking spots and you never see anyone actually working on these “projects”! I asked to speak with someone at the corporate level, but was refused their contact information and subsequently ignored! I wish that I could get out of my lease, but can’t! So I’m hoping to inform possible renters to stay far away from here! This property is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE OUTRAGEOUS RENT THEY ARE CHARGING!!!!

The Management Team is always around taking care of business. And they are very busy ladies in the office helping others. The Maintenance Crew are also very busy Men at Work providing the task @ hand.

The apartments and staff here are fantastic. There's so many community activities and everyone is super friendly. The only big downside to this place is it's far too close to the train tracks.

The community is nice and has been a pleasure. I have lived here for three years. I definitely say the leasing team needs work. Sable and Henry seem to be scatter brained a lot of the time and you always have to follow up with them about any questions or concerns. Paula is the community manager is the only one who seems to knows proper customer service skills, I hate she is gone at the moment.

100 West apartments was our first real Charleston living experience. It has been wonderful. The facilities are clean and the community activities are my favorite ( I met most of my friends through these activities). Paige and Brice's family have made our stay absolutely wonderful. They know everybody by name and they relate as best as they can. The apartments have pretty views and I almost rarely hear any noise from neighbors. Also, we do have food truck nights occasionally ( which is awesome)
