This cottage was originally built in 1917 and is just three blocks from the Deschutes River, Drake Park and the shops and restaurants of downtown Bend. Nestled off the street on a woodsy lot, you can soak up the sun on the large paver patio while enjoying the scented juniper trees and majestic Ponderosa pines that surround the home. A shared driveway leads to a covered carport, small shed for storage and off-street tandem parking for two cars. There is also a secluded back deck, perfect for grilling, reading a good book or enjoying some private time. The inside of the cottage is even better than the amazing outdoor space. The vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and skylights creates an open and bright living area centered around a cozy gas fireplace and expansive kitchen island. The main bedroom is spacious and has a new king-size memory foam mattress, oversized closet with additional built-in storage shelves, top/down-bottom/up blinds and new double-hung windows. There is a second room that can be used as a guest bedroom, office, yoga studio, storage or just a quiet space to relax.
