Rated 3 out of 5?by Txstate12 Needs to work on maintenance
I have lived here less than a year and our hot water has gone out twice- with us having to fix it several times ourselves. I have also dealt with two leaking bathroom pipes, where I had to throw out a lot of stuff. The staff is nice and remembers you, but the quality of maintenance is absolutely ridiculous.

Beautiful, comfortable, clean and quiet. I have lived here two years now and just signed a new lease. Resident activities, the amenities and the staff all make this a place you will love to call home!

When I first decided to move, I wasn't sure of where I would stay, as I had dogs. Upon stumbling upon The Boulders, I found a nice apartment home with plenty of areas for pets to relieve themselves. It didn't take long for a decision to be made to move here.
The Boulders is located by the North East Mall and is right off of Interstate 820. The location is a great one if someone is commuting to nearby areas, such as Fort Worth, Arlington, or Dallas. When I drive to my office in North Dallas, it takes me around 30 - 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
The Boulders also features a swimming pool, a few BBQ pits for residents, and a dog park with a washing area. These amenities help make life a little easier, as the pool is one of the top gathering spots for residents.
They also have special events at the office for residents to meet and greet office staff and have fun. It's things like this that makes The Boulders seem more like a community instead of an apartment complex.
The inside of the apartment is fully carpeted, and the A/C works SMOOTHLY! Coming from Louisiana in a house with no central A/C, it made all the difference in the world to come home to a cool house. My dogs probably enjoy it more than I do, as they can now lay around without panting hard!
Parking is plentiful here, and they do offered covered parking, which we have. There are also plenty of trees for shade on a long walk; plus, they have a small, but functional gym near the front office.
I haven't had any issue out of The Boulders since I've lived here, and have thoroughly felt like I was at home here. I would recommend The Boulders to anyone, whether they have dogs or not.
While 820 can be a nuisance due to construction, I've readily enjoyed being able to leave on a whim and getting to events on time. I can leave here and go to the American Airlines Center within 30 minutes. I can also be at Cowboys Stadium (now AT&T Stadium) within 30 minutes as well.
There are two hotels right down the street, which makes it easy for out-of-towners to visit and there are plenty of restaurants within a 15 - 20 minute drive to never get tired of the same food.
I love living here, and am looking forward to living here for a while! Highly recommended from me!

I've lived here almost 10 years and plan to stay. The current staff is professional and very helpful. I've referred several co-workers as well as others because of the location, the amenities, the staff, and the value.

It is a really nice apartment complex with excellent layouts and the best prices around town. They also give 5% off your rent if you are a teacher.
